Hi Friends,

sory  my English is bad Sad

Which pool is more profitable?

zcash mining/calculator daily 37$

supernova incoming 25$

pool+claymore fee there is

but It is low

What is the best pool for you?

Best pool is flypool .

http://zcash.flypool.org/

Flypool doesn't pay the blocks you mined. It pays when they mature. That's why flypool hashrate spikes 15% when there they had a lucky hour. Some miners are happy to collect your lucky blocks and then go elsewhere. I suspect this is the cause of sudden difficulty spikes

How do you tell when the lucky hour is near?

what settings are you guys using to get 300sol from a 7970? best I can get is 265sol using claymore 12.4.

any advice appreciated

I have a sapphire 7970 non-ghz edition that I had to modify the bios in order to unlock higher clock speeds. It is currently running at 1175 core and 1700 Memclock. I am getting about 306H/s with this settings. If you settings max out at 1545 something on the memclock you will need to reflash your bios with, I think it was the vapor-x 7970 bios. That allowed me to use higher clock settings.

Just check their stats page. Thru the API you can go deeper and compare with the block chain to match when their lucky blocks are coming. Some people both in the us and Europe are doing it on what it seems on automated fashion

Hey guys,
I have a rig consisting of 6 x RX 480s and I recently moved them to a rack where there is no HDMI display. When I set it to mine it starts mining, but the fans don't speed up what so ever, but because there is no extended display on one of the GPUs, I can not edit the fan speed (have tried the inbuilt fan speed setter thing and msi after burner). I have tried changing  Primary VGA (or what ever it was) to PCIE, however I just get a blank screen (so I unplug the GPUS to change it back to the IGPU).

My questions are:
- Why can't I set the fan speed
- Why can't I set Primary VGA to PCI E without just getting a blank screen.

My Rig has:
6 RX 480s
4GB ddr3 ram
Asrock H81 pro btc
1600 w PSU (yes ik it's overkill)
powered pci e risers

Thanks

Edit: I just found HDMI Emulators, I think these would work. I would buy this if there aren't any other soloutions.
For those interested: https://www.amazon.com/CompuLab-fit-Headless-Display-Emulator/dp/B00FLZXGJ6

The cards need to have a display connected to them in order for them to be available to monitor/tune. I use the HDMI dummy plug you linked to above on my 480 rig and it works great.

Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner.
=========================

Latest version v12.4:

- slightly improved speed for some cards (1-2%).

Hey Guys!

What watttool settings are you using for zcach mining on RX 480 cards? After bios modding on amd driver 16.11.5 my hash on flypool is around 270-280. Would be great to get more.

That is still too low. I am at 1125/1500 and get 330 Sol/s with Reference HD 7970.

I think that is the right speed as the stock 7970 runs at about 300H/s.

I have a rig with one card so far, a r9 280(non X) and it's doing 315 sol/s! That was Alot more than I thought it would be capable of doing!

Got the card for 75$ and Today I bought a 7990 for 110$! Cant wait to put it to work! I am really hoping to hit around 900+ sols running both!

The r9 280 runs at 1200/1600 MHz! Amazing overclock at 54 celcius Smiley

You must be doing Craigslist  Grin

Make sure you have a big enough power supply. Those 7990 are 2 7970 put together

Flypool not only steal shares but is also raided and that adds an extra 5%. Although I don't mine at dwarf because is way too small, is the only one that shows the exact hash and has the code on GitHub. Flypool hash shown is around 5% under. And then they get raided because they don't pay the mined blocks but instead pay to the miners that are mining when the block matures. If you check their stats page you'll see what I mean. You miss on 15% of earnings on the lucky hours.

For the Claymore Miner v 12.4 using 4 Sapphire RX470 Nitro 4GB, I am using this bat:

ZECMiner64.exe -zpool ssl://zec.supernova.cc:2242 -zwal username.worker -zpsw password -i 7

Im only getting about .15 zcash every 25-26 hours

What can I do to improve performance?  Miner speeds read 276 - 288, Driver date 3-16-17 version 21.19.525.258.

i think no other choice,  but if you plug a monitor when msi afterburner in lauched , than you unplug the monitor, msi afterburner works till next compute reboot
