I have a problem in ver 12.4 , it wasn't there in any of the past versions , when my rig freezes for any reason the fans of a random card out of 4 cards is stuck at very high speed , i manually set my fans at 60% ,but when miner freezes and i restart it one random card of my rig must stuck at 100% fan with very loud noise , i must reset the rig in order to fix that issue , i set the fans speed form afterburner not the miner and still this issue exists.

I use trixx. I have seen this issue. I would have to click the reset button within trixx on the stuck card reset my tune and reboot. Only way I could find to fix it. I'm not familiar with afterburner. I suppose it has a reset button to bring card back to defaults? Not sure what causes this. BR

Hello! tonight half of my rigs at the same time stop mining - claymore crashes. Using flypool. What can it be, and how something happend on flypool can crash miner?
Happened to me too, and judging by flypool statistics we're not the only ones either. Massive loss of hashpower around 07:00am (GMT+1) cK'

Happened to me too, and judging by flypool statistics we're not the only ones either. Massive loss of hashpower around 07:00am (GMT+1) cK' flypool is raided during the payoff of lucky hour blocks. You guys mining there lose from 10 to 20% of your earnings during those periods. The network diff also goes up and that tells me those miners do not mine zcash full time.

Need some help. Anyone here have a mixed rig with r9 fury and rx480. If so how did you get the drivers to install. I've tried to install 16.3.2 which is claymore recommendation for Fiji cards. But once it's finished installing it still shows yellow exclamation mark on the rx480. Those drivers should be new enough to operate the 480 correct? I'm runnin win 10 pro in this particular rig. It's my amd 8core pc. If I install more recent drivers like 16.12.2 for Polaris and it shows them all installed but upon running ZecMiner the Fiji never hashes. Shows full load and eventually hangs. Even if I turn off the gpu it still will show full load whilst the rx480 hashes. I've tried putting a dummy plug into the rx480 and a hdmi into fury during install still nothing. If I load the 16.3.2 i have to disable the rx480 for it to hash correctly. It will do the 40h/s thing if I don't. It will reach speeds of 460 h/s stock settings on its own. I'm really at a loss at things to try. Best thing I thought of was to pull a r9290x out of a rig and put the 480 in that and see if the r9 fury will play nice together with that. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Best Regards d57heinz
How many gpu do you have? If more than 5, you need to use 6+GPU mod. In this pc it's only two. I gave up trying it with five other rx480 thinking that was it. Does the same thing with one rx480 installed. I'll look into this. If ya have a link I'd appreciate it. Thanks for the tip BR IMHO, using RX480 for ZEC is a waste of hash power. Best to get the Furies for ZEC and the RX480s for ETH. R9 Fury Nanos, Fury X, Nitro etc. are right on the money for AMD cards (420-460 sols/s easy) I agree completely. I was using zecminer for a test of the cards. I was planning on running two instances of the miner sw. One for eth one for zec. I just can't seem to make them cooperate together. I think this morning I'll try to load 16.3.2 along side of 290x. See if that works. I know the rx480 works in tangent with 7970 290 390's. Not sure what the deal is with mixing fury with 480's. I've tried two different mobo and same results. BR my furies do not hash with versions above 16.3.2. I mean, zero hashes, so I can not mix them with the rx480 that requires later versions

where can i find custom bios for club 3d 280x hynix ?
You can made it youself. Just search via google "Tahiti bios modding". I can made it for you. Give me your bios rom, I make mod. It is just change the memory timing. It is less effect now as the new miner use the core a lot. Yeap, this is true...the new version atributes better with core then memory

Ok to continue the fury saga. I've got it mining. But it seems it has some weird issue when paired with any other card. To top it off if I turn off asm it will mine with the second card and never skips a beat. Problem is it's about 150 hashes per sec short of asm mode. I've tried both drivers 15.12 and 16.3.2. Both have the same results. Weird thing is once it locks up and flashes the screen black hashes goto 0 on fury and a reboot will not fix it. I have to use ddu uninstall the drivers and reinstall and it will mine again. Asm mode will mine for exactly 7 minutes then crash. Then I have to repeat the uninstall and reinstall the drivers. I've tried it in two different mobos with same results. I finally gave up and left it in by itself to see if it will mine thru the night. After 1 hour of babysitting it I left. Figure it should continue thru the night. 460 h/s stable when I left. I really don't understand this at all. I've tried several versions of claymore miner back down to ver 10. Ver 10 works but what I find is odd with it is it shows the 7970 as algo 2 and the fury using algo 1. No asm in that version. But when I run ver 12 and up it shows both cards as algo 2. Uff sucks when ya can't figure out what is the issue. I've spent two whole days now troubleshooting. Anyone have any other trick I can try? Would be really appreciated.

Can you change the main display card? I have done that. Put the 7970 into first pcie and the fury as the second card in pcie slots. I just teamviewed into that rig. So far with it by itself it's been running steady going on 10 hours now. It's very possible this 7970 has some issue. They are getting pretty old now. I've had a few go bad in the last month. So it's possible it's flaking out on me causing issues with the software/rig stability.

Once I had this problem (reinstall drivers), too after flashing with other voltage parameters. After flashing to old bios everything was stable again. So probably you have a bios issue somehow.
Another thing I have figured out, when miner switch off or go to zero after a period of time which is always more or less the same amount of time - go and check temperatures. I have to keep all my cards less then 69°C. If cards go above it will cause failures.
Kind regards sworker
