Guys I just want to revive my AMD 7970 GPU as a miner. Do you guys think it can mine decently with zcash? I just need some feedbacks and opinions about zcash mining and to find new GPU .

7970 is excellent for ZEC.

7970 = pre-rebadge R9 280X (bios mods and slightly slower RAM) - they should do over 300 sol/s easily with some OC tweeking.

They're much better on ZEC than they are on ETH.

Hello Guys I m with the 12,4 version and I have problem.
The miner is autorestarting and this problem start 2-3 days ago before I didnt had this problem.
Did some1 knows how to fix that? Thanks in advanced!!!

did you check the log of the miner?   you had maybe a gpu what crash

Yes it was gpu crash , but what is causing this? Before i didnt have this problem.

Driver update, card is older, O/S update.... back the O/C down a couple digits and it'll probably fix it

could be overclocked to much
when card get older, it overclock less high than when it was new

i notice that with my r9 270's , first 4 month they run at 1090mhz after i always had to decrease clock speed   now 2 years later they not stable on 24h more than 1020  i run them on 1010 now same for memory  run at 1500 for long time (1400stock) but now they run at 1460   got sometimes a crash at 1470
also notice msi fan are not good quality, 2 years only , 3 fan on 8 are working bad, 1 gpu need to put fan at 100% because it spin half speed, does not start anymore at low speed

@Claymore, is support for Nvidia cards down the road? Or developing such compatibility is not planned?

Between EWBF and Nicehash, ZEC support for NVidia is pretty well covered already.

I think Claymore will let other developers make a living.

Anyone tried use multiple Fury X cards? Although the VBIOS has been updated to the latest one which claims to support UEFI, it still cannot enter motherboard bios after enable Above 4G decoding in MSI motherboard.

Someone has the real VBIOS for R9 Fury X that supports UEFI GOP, appreciated it if you could share it.

Anyone else using Suprnova with Claymore 12.5 for Zcash, and then switched over the HUSH?

I literally... just changed the zpool address from Supnova Zcash to Suprnova Hush, since everything else was intact for my Suprnova setup, I used the same worker name, etc... and now I'm mining on Hush...

I just wanted to know if I was missing anything, or ift hat's how it's done?

You got it. If there were any issues you'd see authorization/connection errors when claymore starts. If you see that you are finding shares with your setup, then you are in fact mining hush successfully.

Thanks for insight!

While I'm at it, any recommendations for a Hush wallet?  What are you using for Hush if you don't mind me asking?

newby here, I'm using claymore in a pool with gpu hd 7770

How do I know the H/s of my gpu?

I have 50 total shares, how do I know how is going on?

If I want to shut down mining, Am I gonna get rewarded?

Is hard to get good documentation...

You can see your speed in the miner or better on the pool. You are gonna get rewarded if you stop mining. These 50 shares you see will be paid.
