Is there any proof of KNCMiner and ORSoC cooperation on the chips? Did anyone called or somehow checked at ORSoC about the whole deal?
Yes, it was all confirmed with Orsoc's CEO via email and phone-calls, also Orsoc confirmed involvement with KNC with a posting on their website, etc. If you look at public records about the company (knc), you will then see that there are board members in knc from both orsoc and the other "parent" company. Board info is public in sweden and often quite updated, actuall ownership may be harder to find out....

I think I reminded newcomers to this thread at page 79 how they could read the rest of the thread and maybe find some answers. You'd think that after more than 100 pages some of us did their due diligence. This topic has been explored quite thoroughly from the K&C and KNCMINER angle. The ORSoC angle OTOH is new. More than saying they are a small (≃11 ppl), reasonably profitable company, no one has brought up anything negative on them yet. Everybody seems to think (me included) they are the better part of the KNCMINER AB/ORSoC AB partnership.

KNC had indicated that we would find out our true queue position today, monday, after the pre-order window closes.
That sounds optimistic to me. It's been a whole big mess and no one really knows how pre-orders are going to go down. I think most people simply ordered and hope for the best.
Furthermore, if pre-orders ahead of you ordered multiple units, your queue position could be 500 but you might be 1500th in line to receive an actual unit, due to the 3-unit order limit initially--though clearly that's not likely. And if you came in after the 1-500 queue, there's no limit on units ordered at all. And what about people who initially registered for 1 miner and then bought multiples?
I'm not saying this to be negative, this is just my understanding of everything that's happened. I think everyone who ordered early made a good decision thus far, and I'm interested to see how they resolve the queues.

Received an email from a fellow bitcoiner pertaining to Order ID: 6XX that I was trying to give away to him. Well, Sam never switched over the account to that email / attempts to reset the password with my email were fruitless.
I gave up on waiting for it days ago and ordered for my group anyway, letting the queue position fall where it may.
Thanks for you efforts nonetheless.

I'm still unable to pay with PayPal. Sam has not responded to my emails. Seems like some of their payment scheduling plans backfired a tad. Hope it gets resolved.
Good luck Sam!

Pay with bitcoins. A lesson I learnt from the bAsic fiasco is never pay with Bitcoins for pre-orders from yet to be proven providers (not saying that they will not deliver) Cheers
