Please take not bank wire are not instant !! it will take a couple of days. If I were you wait for at least 3 days for them to come through. However they would not take 7 or 10 days or longer.

I remember before I sent money in I use to get replies from someone names SAM. Very polite and took the time the explain everything I asked for. Now that I've paid and sent them money, the responses are days later, quick and uninformative now.

Similar situation except I get no replies anymore.  I'm not a pest.  It has been a while now since my last question.

I tried the sales e-mail today.  We'll see how long it takes.

Anyone know their refund policy?

They have stated before that they will offer refunds up to the shipping date if I remember correctly.

Missing the promise to have the pre-order queue numbers out by last week was not good.  I think they are getting overwhelmed with questions.  I hope they turn it around.

They started directing questions to their customer service email:  customerservice@kncminer.com

I would rather have Sam working on the miners, and leaving the questions to someone else. Especially when most of them have been answered and posted here.

I am going to throw some gasoline on the fire here... I don't know that they'll be able to finalize the queue that fast. I am thinking about the people that opted to "pick up" their orders in Stockholm. This was for their yet to be announced hosting plan. We were being told that if we do not like the hosting plan we can then opt to have the units shipped which to me suggests that they'll have to try and include those people in the queue as well at some point. Not sure if that will mean yet another reset of the queue.

I don't think it matters where it is being shipped.  It will be shipped to their hosting facility or elsewhere.  Its not like they are going to host them at the production facility.  Also, I was told they were just waiting for wire transfers. I don't know why wire transfer people should get 3 extra weeks though.

Orders will be shipped in the order they were paid. Full stop...

People get so worked up over things they can't control.  The less time KnC spends dealing with nit picky crap like this the better imo.

I'm helping out by NOT emailing them.  They spent the open days to reduce questions.  Sure they should make a real FAQ, but there were lots of answers in the thread.

If you trust someone you don't need anymore details, since if you don't trust someone all the details in the world still aren't enough.

Many people here aren't going to trust them ever, even when something ships they will still be skeptical on anything they say.

This happens to EVERY company that tries to start making mining hardware. You would think they would learn from others?

This is a quote from an email from them,

"From: Customer Service [mailto:customerservice@kncminer.com]
Sent: Tuesday, July 2, 2013 8:04 AM

To: opentoe@gmail.com
Subject: RE: Available?

Hi,

Please allow for up to 10 days for the transfer to arrive in our account.
"

Seriously, 10 days? Last time I've done a bank wire with another company it took 1 day.

So what? If it happens in 1 day or 10, it won't change how quickly the unit ships. There's no gain for impatience.

Is there anyone, anything, human or not that can tell me how this suspected miner works? Is there built in Ethernet? USB? These are lots of normal questions even BFL was able to answer without a prototype. I want to be able to manage my fathers miner remotely and have yet to find out what kind of connections are on them.

- Embeded Linux device to allow for standalone mining.

So it should have an Ethernet interface.

Teamviewer to the PC of your father, from there connect to the miner over ethernet.
Can also be done directly, but KISS.

I am selling in stock OneStringMiner boards, based on the Bitfury chips. Have a look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=495536.0

So are we still going to get proper queue numbers or is this Shipping Day 1 and Day 2 thing the only info we will get? If it is I am pretty annoyed because realistically they are not going to ship a thousand devices in 2 days
