Wow, I haven't been around in a couple of months, and a lot has been going on.  Do we currently have a marketing team?  If not, I wouldn't mind taking that on, and start reaching out to a couple of other exchanges.

I mined mooncoin back in 2013/2014 and it really looks like we are picking up steam again.
In the case of MOON last week, many traders, judging by the fork forum at bitcointalk.org, began to buy the currency guided precisely by the twitter of this comrade. He himself, according to his reports, having launched 400 BTC in MOON, received 266 BTC profits (the price rose from 5 to 39 satosh, after which it fell to 20). Of course, there were doubts about his reality

I just got the new wallet 13.9.0 and started it, but I can not connect to any peers in order to sync. please help me.
What do I need to do in order to connect?

No FW nor defender is used...

Give it some minutes.. if you had older version(0.10) please delete the database(in your mooncoin directory) but please protect and backup your wallet.dat(this is your address/money keeper).
then try again.

Well I had it for a day and still no connections, now I deleted most of the folder. hope it connects to someone.
if it does not work I will let you know.

Would you please let us know where the price rose to 39 Satoshi? Over 30 Satoshi was in the beginning of 2014, when Mooncoin was just launched.

For yesterday I can only see 5 Satoshi and that was only on coinexchange.io, because they were updating the wallet, hence being a closed market: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/mooncoin/#charts

The highest price on www.bleutrade.com was 4 Sats which was the realistic price, since bleutrade's wallet was not in maintenance.

Again: let people sell, when they want to. It makes the community not look good, if those who bought in later or plan to hodl, affront those who bought early and want to make their profit or just have fear that they could lose their investment.
Instead, try to explain why they should not fear and it is pretty normal that prices tend to be volatile. Not everyone is a stock-market expert and knows the market-rules (e.g.: "what goes up, must come down" and vice versa). Don't try to overhype. That also makes Mooncoin look bad. There is a good chance that Mooncoin can reach 350 Satoshi, but no one can say if and when. That is the main rule in markets. So (another golden rule): never invest more than you can afford to lose. And you'll be "on the safe side".  Smiley

I get what you are saying. I didn't mean it as an attack on people selling at a few Santoshi at all. It was really just a comment about the anxious nature of the need to sell quickly at a few Santoshi and the aggravation for an exchange having a minor technical issue for a few hours. Hell, I get what you're saying. I'll be selling some of my stake at a few Santoshi myself. But a minor delay doesn't get me nervous at all and I only do it because I love mooncoin and the mooncoin community and the new Dev rocks and I want to be able to give other people the chance to get in on the ground floor of a new asset class that the world can invest in. I did alot of mining in the beginning so I have more than I'll ever really need and personally, I'd much rather help thousands of people in the mooncoin community become millionaires .. or moonyaires ... then keep everything for myself.

The nervousness just felt like a palm face moment to me, and the criticism was really meant to help these new moonies out more than anything. Guys the sky is not falling it's going to be OK. technical glitches happen it's not a conspiracy against anyone. And if you're not sitting on billions of moon it's probably not a great time to sell. I do it at a lost knowing where this coin is going because I want to help ya'll out really. There is a block reward reduction coming ...

What makes tis coin special from all the 10th of thousands of coins out there?

The 1st thing i have in my mind the strong community.
Also, low fees(designed for micro payments), flexible blockchain, faster than btc..
And the most important that just started new developer and are on plans new projects on this coin which will effect the inner and outer eco-system of Mooncoin.
So, its perfect for investment!

You found the way to this forum. So why not try out Mooncoin, to find out?
Just download the wallet:

Source: https://github.com/mooncoincore/wallet
Binaries (Windows): https://github.com/mooncoincore/wallet/releases

And buy some coins:

https://bleutrade.com/exchange/MOON/BTC
https://www.coinexchange.io/market/MOON/BTC

Unlike many of the experimental and/or slow coins out there like IOTA, bitcoin and the like, it's fast, stable, cheap to send transactions and: it's Mooncoin.  Wink

So you're kind of working like a central bank, stabilizing the price, preventing it from going too high too fast, which basically is not a bad thing for a currency.  Wink

Hey guys, great post, I'm one more holder of Mooncoin and I will hold this coin till the end, it doesn't matter how many time it goes up or down in price. I'm one of those who believe this coin will reach the moon sooner than later, so let's make it happen. How can we help the project?

i still think addition to a hardware wallet would make a big impact

We added Mooncoin to the Cheddur app (https://www.cheddur.com)! This will allow new users to learn about Mooncoin and join the community. Cheddur allows you to link wallets, exchanges, and other services that support MOON so that new users can easily get started. You can also review the project and post your MOON addresses on your profile to receive tips / payments / donations in MOON from other users Smiley

Can others from the community please review the profile for quality and help add supported services? The more active the Mooncoin profile is (via user reviews and addresses), the higher it ranks in search results and the more likely newcomers are to discover the Mooncoin project!

Good afternoon ! Another good news... Smiley

I see them unblocked and leaking somewhere.
