Sorry.....but I've looked through pages of posts trying to determine what wallet to download for windows, and I'ge seen so many versions/variations so I'm totally confused.  Can someone point me in the right direction?  I've looked on Github, and that just totally baffles me with all the different download links and versions.  Anyone advise a noob please....?

Hello, i understand that there are two families: for "mining + wallet" and the other for "wallet" only.

go to :

https://github.com/mooncoincore/wallet/releases/tag/0.13.9-segwit

and

choose : wallet >> mooncoinWallet_blue_moon_without_miner_Setup.exe

or

choose : mining + wallet >> mooncoinWallet_blue_moon_Setup.exe

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Hi all and especially welcome Vassilis_Dev,

I had dropped the ball on this one; the hardfork block height had passed and basically I didn't have my shit together.
Anyone using the compiled 0.13.3 wallet would be advised to export their private keys; and reimport them back into the 0.10.5 wallet - in case of any lost funds.
I've removed the compiled windows wallet on the github just as a precaution.

As per mooncoin_foundations request; i've also updated the hardfork block to 1,250,000..

A lot of work had gone into this release, and I hope that it gets built on; particularly the new hashing algorithm - but this is for the crowd/Vassilis_Dev to decide.

Take care all,
james

Big thank you James for your great work accomplished over all these years, I hope you will not let the moon fall Smiley because without you it will not be as high as the nonexistence! I understand that it takes time. In any case, welcome to @Vassilis_Dev and thank you also for your involvement and your voluntarism appreciated !

The community needs all talent people, the goal is to do as well as Bitcoin and why not do better ?! at the present time thanks to your work and to the super hero of the network allows to take the right direction. It all depends on the involvement of the community. The concept Mooncoin can be growing with some innovations this is a new chapter to come ... Do you think it would be possible to get closer to Lárrimar Tia the creator of the site https://www.mooncoin.eco/

Hi,

Thak you!

I will answer here because pm's are limited yet!

The wallet has nothing wrong.
The miner trigger antivirus alerts..
For that reason i have 2 installer versions.. with and without miner!
Right now I'm adding themes and miner in settings.
But again the new compiled with miner will alert! And to feel safe i have also the "without miner" installer version.

Hello,

My v0.10.5.0 wallet is not synchronized since 3 weeks. I followed the steps on page 182 but nothing happens. Can someone help me?

Thanks.

hi i have the same wallet and the correct one if you follow precisely page 182 it wil sync, takes some time ,

btw great to see the mooncoin alive !  lets rock ( on the moon ) With Mooncoin in 2018 ! ;-)

Yes was having the same problem thanks for this will try later today

I had the same syncing issue until I upgraded to 0.13.9; no problems at all now!

I highly suggest backing your wallet.dat up (usually found here: C:\Users\YourUserNameHere\AppData\Roaming\Mooncoin) and then removing
the Mooncoin folder entirely to have a fresh wallet install. Install 0.13.9, let it fully sync, then shut it down. Copy and paste your backed up wallet.dat
back into C:\Users\YourUserNameHere\AppData\Roaming\Mooncoin then start the wallet back up. Do a small test transfer and confirm on a
blockchain explorer. Done! Cheesy

I did that on another pc. Everything looks ok now, wallet is connected and i can see my balances...but i still have a problem. When i try to send coins my balance is going to 0 and the new transaction is going to be offline ( not in memory pool )

@ s3rgiu you have to wait the correction of Vassilis, he will do an uptdate of the mooncoinWallet.exe this weekend to correct this bug in the code on V0.13.9 . So the wallet still cant send coin due to something in the code "that forbid txs"  (forbiden trasaction to send coin outside the wallet)
 waiting for the upload.
Then by downloading it, it should work.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
@Vassilis i get same problem for mining

Guys, how to mine? I've updated wallet, sent to it coins from bleu.
Pressed "Start Mining", entered address and OK. What is next?

You must see a toggle monitor in "Overview" page.
If not confirm that you have in wallet directory a directory named "miner" and in there is the "minerd.exe".
For example:
wallet directory
 |
 --- miner
       |
       --- minerd.exe

If you don't have it, download it from our github https://github.com/mooncoincore/wallet/releases.
You will find with setups and exe list also, 2 cminer packages for 64 and 32 bit.
Extract, and copy paste the minerd.exe in wallet_directory\miner\.

I will need help.
• I didn't get the miner from the original yellow wallet v0.13.9.0-0ef57fc-segwit pack (event if i got the button start mining in the wallet i didn't saw rhe miner and minerd.exe in the roaming files)
=> So i decided to download it manually and put it in the app file wallet mooncoin directory

• But it still looks not mining.

When i click start mining entered an adress clicking ok nothing appears on screen.
- Got an idea to fix it ?

◘ I noticed i got a file .dat who has been create name "start-minier" and inside i got this :
 ./miner/minerd.exe  -a scrypt -o stratum+tcp://5.45.105.66:9664 -u 2NZNeogZbWkCHejbjJwu1t2Ka4z5xRgghx

And when i click on it it's just open and close. I don't know how to mine for now needing your help so.

Great work! Vassilis
look forward to a good and new mobile wallet. Can also back online moonrush wallet?
My pleasure Vassilis and congratulations for your work!  Wink  As my agswinner friend wrote here, a good mobile wallet, similar to the Dogecoin one, would be a great achievement. Some days ago I was talking about Mooncoin with some very rich Chinese friends and they told me that they are really interested investing in Mooncoins if Moon world can be easily reached with an iPhone, like Doge does or even better. Chinese people are accustomed using QR code for many years with WeChat in their smartphones and do not like to follow all these steps to buy and change coins, you know...
