It's bad to see a long term investor and dev in struggle and disagreement, investors want to see harmony, good team , stable organizzation, , honesty and trasparency, etc.
The team is solving problems. That's good for investors.
Unless i missed something i don't see any disagreement what i see is mature and honest conversation away to to talk and discuss so that every body has a clear understanding of whats going on

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

People please read the whole story before posting. Some last posts had nothing in common with this not simple situation.

True. Some people like to panic. Smiley

Anyway, my two cents: first, this event will eventually result in finishing the stolen coins saga (a very big plus for whole moon community). Second, coins/money were/was stolen from cryptsy. So it should eventually find the way to the people that are waiting for it for years (thank god that I pulled resources from cryptsy before it went kaboom) - contacting the florida court that was already mentioned before is probably the best course of action.

Third, keep calm.  Wink

It would be fair if people who had lost coins at Cryptsy would decide what to do with these coins.
I personally had lost a lot of coins at Cryptsy,
but for now I'm not sure: maybe better to burn these coins, to send them to a confirmed (with a technical proof) burn address.
Or there will be suspicions about dumping, split of community etc.
Another way is to send coins to the court, but then no one will benefit.
The Florida court already received 8 bil MOON before, but never returned even 1 Mooncoin to Cryptsy account holders.
Instead of that coins were sold via silent auction to unknown buyers 8 bil MOON + a lot of other crypto coins for a very small amount of money (about $100,000 if I remember correct numbers from their report).
Will anyone benefit from it? If coins were returned to the community, should community send these coins to the court?
They will dump these coins again on us, and we will pay for our own coins and will not receive money, because they will share all received money between all Cryptsy account holders. Is it fair? Not. Is it moral? Not. Is this even legal? Is there any good lawyer in the Mooncoin community?

Agree with this one, if buyers will be old holder with investing in mind. Not buy for 1 sat and sell instant for 2 or 3 sat on exchanges.

These coins belong to people. It's not legal and not fair - to send these coins to exchanges, to dump them etc.
It looks like the possible legal way is if the majority of coin holders (counting only holders of these 62 bil coins) agree to burn them - to burn them forever.

Hello everyone! I know that I am not the first who got into this situation, but I looked through the topic and I didnt find answer.
My MOON coins are in wallet since autumn, wallet Mooncoin Core version v0.10.5.0-barrystyle. Now I opened it to synchronize and check if everything is alright but it says that there is no available block source. What should I do to get my coins?

Also, thank you all for your support and your faith!
It's very important for me.

i dont think there would be any bigger test of faith, for a new dev to receive 25% of the marketcap (only upwards of 15 million dollars),
and then be completely transparent about it Smiley
