Just found an old wallet with 1M+ mooncoin in it.  Too bad it is only worth about $20.  I honestly didn't even know moon was still around, but I am glad to see it is trying to make a comeback.

I still have 1 mill mooncoins as well.  I'm glad to see it isn't dead and hopefully mooncoin will have big mainstream appeal once crypto becomes more accepted.

Good afternoon. The next big deals for Mooncoin will be the new algorithm, Smartlikes, entrance in new exchanges and use in real life. I believe that Mooncoin will  succeed in all sections...!  Smiley

The fact is that the token or coin is in demand because it is useful.  Not because some return on investment is guaranteed.

Where can Mooncoin be factually used and what can I buy with it?

Yes, I wonder where and how I want to see all the points.

Mooncoin can be used for recording onto blockchain without 3rd parties.
It's free, so you don't have to spend your coins for that.

Also at the moment you can buy other Altcoins for MOON at NovaExchange and at the barter decentralised exchange (atomic swaps).

I am interested of this coin.

How I can buy this coin?

When it is expected to start growing?

Where and how I can use this coin?

Thank you for your answers.

To buy things or services with crypto is still quite exotic,
buying with MOON could be easily implemented in this way:
you send MOON, MOON is being automatically converted to BTC via a payment gateway,
so everything what is possible to buy with BTC people would be able to buy with MOON,
the problem is there would be no demand.
So the question is not 'what can I buy with MOON?',
but 'why should someone buy anything with MOON?',
if BTC or traditional currencies can be used for that.
That's why the only way to mass adoption for MOON these days is building unique digital services on top of Mooncoin blockchain,
that people would be glad to use on a daily basis.

Try MoonWord to use Mooncoin for recording onto blockchain:
http://mooncoin.com/moonword/

To buy MOON, look at these exchanges: Bleutrade.com, Novaexchange.com, Coinexchange.io
MOON/LTC and MOON/DOGE markets offer a better price at the moment.
You can compare prices at https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/mooncoin/#markets.

Good morning. There are 6000 blocks until the fork...Of course we need to discuss about the possiblity of reduction in block reward and Mooncoin's adoption from the people in their life. Smiley

Hi guys I got my coins back. Please refer to below on how i did it:

1. If you like me, you stored your mooncoins on wallet.moonrush previously. You probably saved your url like this
http://wallet.moonrush.org/#XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (please dont share this passphrase to anyone)

2. To get access to your mooncoins, you will need to access to your private keys.
please copy your passphrase after the # XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

3. Go to https://walletgenerator.net, choose 'Mooncoin', 'Brain wallet', input your passphrase and you will receive its private key.

4. After that you can import your priv key to the Mooncoin wallet,
by going to Debug-Console and typing this command importprivkey XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXyourprivkey

Many thanks to Mooncoin_Foundation for helping me out. Thank you!

I hope this can help someone in the future. To the moon!

Pity i didnt use the brain wallet. (course my brain is a bit empty, so might not have helped lol)

I did the paper wallets, one of which i transferred coin to, then hit Generate next...before i printed out the priv key...
Losing all the coin on it.   ah well, i have alot of coin still,  but very irritating.

Hi All,

I've been thinking quite about moon word, and what type of use case would work and be quite useful with the permanence of the blockchain. Real Estate agents are required to archive texts and emails for like 3 to five years. Do you think building a messaging application based on moon word would work? The correspondence would be public viewable but it would be encoded and you wouldn't necessarily be able to tell whom was conversating with who... It would solve the issue of maintaining backup copies, but I'm not sure about having everything world readable... perhaps just a general use messaging app for smartphones would be better. Just throwing an idea out there. Anyone else have a use case in mind? It looks interesting and would like to build something on it, but still looking for inspiration... Let me know if you got any ideas.
