Why don't you just update the site and wiki so it reflects **the truth** ? That would shut the mouths of all critics.
It wouldn't shut the mouths of any critics, they'd just move on to some other argument that they don't actually believe.

Might be worth a try. A through description of the situation would actually be helpful imo.
Of course it wouldn't stop the zealots, but they'd have a harder time to gain followers for sure..

Yes the next thing will be: "It's pre-mined!" then after that "But you guys wanna destroy Bitcoin!" and after this "We will fork your code and make it obsolete, hurr durr!"
However in contrast to the licensing issue it requires some serious mental gymnastics to misinterpret things to come to these points.

Then you believe it is just "OK" to lie in that manner to get more people in the project ?

No, but i beat yours, and man - she likes it.

So are we going to start insulting each other instead of just discussing on the topic ?

Sorry, but i meant the thruth about ripple.

To be so personal and emotional when discussing in this forum just disqualifies the arguments. So please, if you have something serious to say, Im interested.

Oh, you were serious.

For "what i know", check links in my signature.
This topic has been discussed so many times...

In short:
- Ripple is not either open source or decentralized
- Their website lies about the truth

No more "truths" i know.

With all the trolling towards the end and considering there was no activity for nearly a year, yes.

Fidor Becomes First Bank to Use Ripple Payment Protocol

by Pete Rizzo

San Francisco-based decentralized payment network provider Ripple Labs has announced that German Internet direct bank Fidor is now using the Ripple protocol as part of its transaction infrastructure.

With the announcement, Fidor has become the first bank to integrate Ripple’s payment protocol, allowing its customers to instantly send money in any currency in any amount through the bank’s money transfer products at a lower cost.

not true.
Well Ripple is not completely dead, but the hype has burnt out and people have seen through its premine centralized bullshit and apparently want nothing to do with it.
