Need some help....

to claim your coin on the TezBox you need:

- 15 words seed --> OK
- activation code --> OK
- email --> OK
- password --> NOT OK. shit I don't remember what for a password I used!  

somebody rember if they gave us "password restriction" like uppercase, bigger as 8 char, or so?

That password part is unbelievably irresponsible. Noone told us it would be that important and everyone assumed that seed was what mattered. I don't know if I remember it either. I have not tried to claim it yet.

"Passwords not that important"... LOL  ...Are you kidding us? It was all over the ICO contribution page that participants are responsible for the password and that you'll need it later to claim XTZ.

That's sad that you failed to read and follow instructions but I hope at least you've learnt something

I wonder how many tokens were lost due to lost passwords?

No official statics about this situation how many people are facing this problem but looking over this thread it seems only few people having this issue who didn't stored their passphrase on a secure place.

Guess who's back  ..I noticed not much interest in what tezos can do or be used for    all i see is how much have i made in trade or baking  ..
I could of bailed out at 3.75 on gate and the UK was allowed to withdraw  never did  ..  i have a couple of k tezos and kyc and not activated yet   waiting for a more stable wallet .
I have been sitting back and WATCHING  who you may ask   EVERYONE ..
I was wondering instead of asking about what profits you made or what you can make   any chance you and i could talk about something else like this below ..

Type on computer     kate sills twitter account   and learn   although i have many points to prove were many are wrong that young lady is very very inquisitive  and i love it..
she is asking and debating all the right questions  so i give her 10 out of 10  for being inquisitive..

Law and smart contracts ..Will be very hard to do without law enforcement   why you ask ?..
How does a computer or AI know the difference in words ?..  Imagine you write a smart contract what if one word meaning is different to what you both said but the word means different but the same ..As we know in court one person saying the same use of a word can mean different to another person using the same words ..

So how do you write a smart contract that code will then enforce     without the law being involved ?.. 
The meaning of words having the same spelling but different meanings to one person or another  how will the code know if bobs right or Jill ..

Jill could say i said this word means blah blah  and bob could say no but i mean this blah blah blah   ..So what happens then?..
You need the law  FACT  ..A contract really is not for you it's to make life easier for the judge to judge   why because you read the contract and then signed for it both parties did this act ..But know you have come to a point were both parties don't agree  so then the LAW is needed to enforce your contract ..

So really a contract is to help the law help you to settle your case ..You say no it's not?  OK  a test for everyone ..

would you leave 50k in a open safe or would you lock it ? ..
so that's why you make a contract because you don't trust them really   FACT   so leave your safe open then if you trust people  ..No i thought you would lock it why because we as humans don't really trust people enough to loose a lot of monies  and that's why we draw or make up a contract ..

Even video evidence is 100% proof  i say better than a contract because he is actually saying what he will do and wont do on video than sign the paper while videoing them signing       100% proof of a video contract .. the judge could then easy solve the case ..

So how do you write a smart contract so no law enforcement ?  I say impossible to have a contract without any law enforcement ..
The very idea of a contract is so you can get the law  and show proof of what both parties signed the agreement for..

I went on trello to look at others ideas    rather poor ..I have so many ideas  but 1 really killer idea and as Arthur will know i try  ..
Now i see people with millions of TEZOS  I GOT 2K  ..  so if you want tezos to be the top 2 yes smash eth  easy  then i need to be able to solo bake 20k   and that means
18k donation  from who ever   but just lets say this   the ideas so far  are poor..

Now remember i never said the blockchain is poor Arthur built a excellent blockchain up to now     so far so good  so no problems from him or the tezos foundation  just
no ARTIST to fill that canvas  with excellent ideas to move this into 1st or 2nd spot on the crypto table ..

I wait to activate my small 2k worth of tezos not even a enough to bake on my own  ..
BUT if you donate 18k or more this project will be the envy of blockchains ..

I have many answers and questions all wrote down about how to go with contracts oh and smart ones ..

Kate sills    you can do a transaction to buy a contract          transaction or contract   well you can do both at the same time not one is the same ..
a contract is for the law..

you sign a birth certificate that is a contract for you to be a citizen and by law you can be held accountable when reach 10 or parents get done if before that age ..
you signed your life away from the day your born ..TO THE GOVERNING BODY of your countries laws ..

Next week i will get a tezbox wallet    on another laptop       so i will ask for donations 20k i need why because people got millions and bailed out with massive profits for doing NOTHING and my idea is the best idea EVER  FACT..   I have wrote a few down ..The faster i get my donation the better we can move forward ..

You need to discuss    what are smart contracts and how can we write them to be enforced without enforcement ..
Going to be hard   will be one or 2 things you can do but not many without the law ..

See a contract you can threaten with the law to get the person to pay up ..Like say if we went to court i can sue for many millions settle out of court you will pay 1 million ..
BUT you still was threatened with law enforcement  FACT ..

You can pay children to do WHAT? ..learn to trade play a game roll dice swap crypto over to another wallet   what will you get them to do?..
I could say build this and that and many things what will you tell them to build ?  I wait to hear and see ..

According to this site I found my password but the PublicHash doesn’t correspond

--> Seed (PDF) + Mail (PDF) + Passwd (after some try...) = OK
--> Public key according to this site = tz1byiEFzXP3zVsfnXaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

--> Public key according to the PDF (and where my funds are) = tz1WDNTiHuzgxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

It's not great at all if you are a US, Canadian or Japanese citizen. Tezos needs a better exchange.
