What is the approximate duration of the KYC?
day ? a week ?

I got mine confirmed within 20 minutes. Others however are reporting it took them a couple of weeks.
Don't know what it depends on. Maybe I was just lucky enough or I was one of the first few.

Just have a little patience, just like with all things Tezos

Mine was approved in a few hours too, very nice to see the progress lately. I have great hope that Tezos will be a great success and I'm glad to have invested at that time.

Nobody will sell XTZ for 3xROI, but for 30xROI...maybe

There will always be people selling for x3, much more important is how many people want to buy. I hope there will be a decent hype as soon as the Mainnet is released, I will certainly keep my Tezos.

And if you think about it usually it is a smart thing to do. Imagine you are waiting in the stock market for your money to go x3...

Trading is part of the growth I also think we see sellers at every level. We see this kind of method repeating in every project especially when it is get started I hope in long term strong hands will take real advantage the rise of the price.

Being a strong hand isn't easy. Holding a bad investment doesn't really mean you are a strong hand. What I understand about being a strong hand also means that you need to put a lot of effort into reevaluating your investment constantly.

Agree if you live from other sources rather than crypto, but if you must pay for your expanses, you are kind of forced to sell, even at this low prices.

They have focus on the launch of this betanet I hope this will happen smoothly all people have so high expectation from this big project. This will bring revolutionary change into the world of smart contracts and will provide more better solution.

Foundation had considered retaining a veto power over protocol amendments for one year, we have decided not to retain that right. Very important statement and step towards decentralization.

They did not succeed in 2 quarters. Even if they fail the market is very bad. Now they can throw in the 3rd or 4th quartile.

on 1st of July it will be exactly an year since ICO began, I remember they even postponed ICO, which was supposed to happen in May.

I'm not also waiting big shout for the launch. Many eyes on them lately and all need is smooth, successful launch which I can see they are doing their best for that.

Betanet Expectations

In an effort to better prepare the community for the betanet, we would like to once again communicate expectations for this network:


The betanet is a functioning network. It is a preview of the Tezos mainnet and its full functionality.
During this experimental period, the intent is that transactions from the betanet will irreversibly persist into the mainnet.
The betanet is experimental and should NOT be used for important or high valued transactions.
The betanet will likely suffer unscheduled downtimes and experience emergency hard forks.
A broader mainnet launch will follow the betanet after it has sufficiently matured.
These actions will align with the project’s efforts to continue to improve the overall security and stability of Tezos.

A Note on Phishing

Phishing is a fraudulent attempt to obtain sensitive information by impersonating a trusted party. We encourage every user to take all available safety precautions before interacting with the betanet. Always think twice before entering private key information anywhere. Any user (or software) that gains knowledge of private key information will have access to the tokens controlled by the corresponding public key hash.
