Well good afternoon Bitcoinland. Just got online after successful surgery Friday. I see I missed some excitement while I was away... big dip and big recovery... currently $8172USD/$10700CAD (Bitcoinaverage). It's pretty much back to where it was before I went in. Woke up and decided to fire up the laptop just in time to catch the end of the rally. I guess my bladder alarm still works.  Nothing to do now but relax in the Mexican sun and convalesce until I get my sutures removed on Thursday. I can't fly for at least a couple more weeks but at least I can head out to the jungle later this week. I'm currently toothless with very fragile gums after bone grafts to my jaws. Needless to say, I'm on a totally liquid diet. Ever have pork tacos pureed in a blender? Delicious! Did anybody actually read Jimbos post ? Jimbo, i apologise in behalf of all these money orientated people here, they have nothing other than money in their brain. You heartless bunch. I read it...the dude is chillin in the sun sippin on some blended tacos. Livin it up! Wait, one day you will be toothless. Don´t believe me ? Just wait ! And it will be no fun, guaranteed . . . |

Talk all you want about Mt.Gox but Putin just won the Presidency of Russia again and let me remind you he will be introducing tax law from July 1st on crypto currency in Russia which is main bear force currently going on. How do I know that? Well there were few of Russians asking to invest in exchanges in Belarus and in my country Serbia.

oh man a test at 6000 looks cooked in at this point I don't usually find "drawing triangles" to have any use. But that triangle seems to match up perfectly with the next area of support. Maybe you found the one triangle that actually means something! |

Bitcoin Dominance at 44% now. At this rate it could reach 50% before retesting the last bottom. The carnage on the alts is being brutal.
Shitcoiners need to face a hard lesson, so they learn that the true value of something isn't because "Well it's valuable because it went up." That's penny stock hopium bullshit. "The flogging will continue until intelligence and sense returns."  That might take a while.. Seems that there still continues to be a lot of nonsense talk with those many paper tiger white papers. I was thinking that there would be at least one more run up of alt coins and the various shit coins before a real correction comes.. but who knows? Maybe we are experiencing the alt coin purge in this time around? |

In case you guys haven’t figured this out, this happens every weekend. It just so happens we are currently in an extended downtrend.
I had not noticed about whatever is supposedly happening every weekend.. but I did notice the "extended downtrend," if you mean that 3 months is an "extended downtrend." |

It seems like we have a little breather for today but to make things clear a big green candle doesn't say we have broken the down trend yet. Even if the MACD shows bullish divergence and the volume is big we haven't broken any resistance as of yet. The 50 EMA which is located at 8500$ is still yet to be broken in order for us to say we are on a up trend. What I can say now is the bulls have refused to re-visit the 6,000$ area again as it might be to early for them to go down this big.

Why do people still listen to those who made crazy predictions in the past and were all wrong? None of them predicted the pull back from 20K to 7-8K did they? Masterluc, Cliff High, Tone Vays, McAfee.  They believe in "long-term", not in short-term like you. My long term prediction I made August 2017 simply based on doubling each year: 2018 2000 2019 4000 2020 8000 2021 16000 2022 32000 2023 64000 2024 128000 2025 256000 I have nothing against Masterluc, Cliff High, Tone Vays, McAfee saying it will moon sometime in several years 5-10 or whatever (most of us here do otherwise we wouldn't invest our money and time) but a lot of their technical babble in the mean time has been proven wrong hence my comment. I merited your earlier post, mostly because I appreciate an anti-sorcerer comment now and then, because sometimes it seems that guys are getting into too much sorcerer reliance.. and sometimes, want to be viewed as sorcerers, too. Doubling every year is not a bad idea or framework, and if you are starting with $1,000 for 2017, $500 for 2016, and $250 for 2015 - even if you are largely correct, you seem to be selectively and purposefully low-balling, especially when we have seen $20k for 2017... so you either seem to be purposefully skewing down your expectations or you are engaged in a state of unrealism.  We are also NOT going to get linear BTC performance.. so even an average of 2x every years seems to just be a kind of stab in the dark that is not really based on anything except for a kind of dream about how the world should be rather than how it is, especially with a considerable likelihood that bitcoin is in a exponential curve which will not likely be held back by 2x (or linear) expectations.  |
