Is that gox whale going to dump at 4pm GMT once again? What a wanker
That Gox whale did all his trades OTC and off exchange. From what I understand he will need the court to authorize any more sales. something something September Off-topic. I just discovered I can live like a king in New York. I should fly south before you wall me off

https://thefinanser.com/2018/03/lies-spread-bankers-cryptocurrencies.html/“It’s very hard to get dirty money through a banking system. Cryptocurrency is phenomenal for all that stuff . . . Every crook and every dirty politician in the world, I bet, is in cryptocurrency.”
This is complete baloney and is a smokescreen being created by financial people to deflect the real purpose of cryptocurrencies, which is to use software and servers to manage value rather than buildings and humans. In other words, cryptocurrencies have the opportunity to reduce or even replace banks, which is why I find it interesting how often I hear a financial person say that bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are just for criminals when it’s blatantly not true. Unfortunately because they are in a position of authority, politicians believe them; and unfortunately, because they are also in a position of authority, the media believes them; and unfortunately, because they are in a position of authority, the public sometimes believes them too.
Most law enforcement authorities however, state that the levels of criminal activity with cryptocurrencies is so tiny today that it doesn’t matter and, specifically, does not warrant deflecting their time and energy to investigate them. Just to illustrate this, the total worldwide investment in all cryptocurrencies is around $300 billion today. Even if criminals were running 10% of that, it’s still just $30 billion. That is an insignificant amount compared to the trillions being laundered through the traditional financial system, mainly through offshore companies buying up properties. Good rebuttal to the visa dude's dishonesty, and some good links in the article re banks' fraud and 'money-laundering'.

We're going to build a buy wall and Bitfinex is going to pay for it. The wall is going to cost $10 billion. That's what it's going to cost. It's going to be a powerful wall. It's going to be $10 billion high and we are going to watch it. It will go up so fast your head will spin. Right? It’s going to happen. Going to happen. They know it. I know it. We all know it. Just remember that. And you remember I said it…. It's going to be a serious wall. It's going to be a real wall. It's not going to be a wall that they just climb up, and you know, you see what they do, over.
and it will be paid by Mexico I heard Putin was going to pay for the wall through a Mexican intermediary. Isn't that why American hackers meddled in the Russian election to ensure a Putin victory? Naturally, Putin is saying the cyber-attacks did not impact the outcome of the election and he's blaming Canada for it's lax immigration policies. Apparently the FSB and the GRU both agree that there was meddling but the GRU does not believe Canada was able to influence the outcome. Developing...

also, masterluc says...blah blah
Why do people still listen to those who made crazy predictions in the past and were all wrong? None of them predicted the pull back from 20K to 7-8K did they? Masterluc, Cliff High, Tone Vays, McAfee. They believe in "long-term", not in short-term like you. My long term prediction I made August 2017 simply based on doubling each year: 2018 2000 2019 4000 2020 8000 2021 16000 2022 32000 2023 64000 2024 128000 2025 256000 I have nothing against Masterluc, Cliff High, Tone Vays, McAfee saying it will moon sometime in several years 5-10 or whatever (most of us here do otherwise we wouldn't invest our money and time) but a lot of their technical babble in the mean time has been proven wrong hence my comment. Doubling every year is not sustainable. And you are not taking into account the alts. In my perspective. Bitcoin is a security and 'an above gold/silver/metal store of value'. You just need to do the math that probably just 1% of humanity owns some bitcoin or centi-bitcoins or any smaller subdivision of bitcoin. But bitcoin will not be used for day to day transactions to buy coffee or order pizza, because altcoins will handle that. But in the perspective of the security of the network, bitcoin is the most solid. It just has better infrastructure & PR for people to believe in it as cult members do. But I'm looking forward for some of those coffee coins and pizza coins, so I can buy some!

This pitchfork is still holding. Best analysis so far, simple, intuitive, symmetrical, factual, timely. You dont need to understand the theory behind it to see the possibilities. + Merits.

Well good afternoon Bitcoinland. Just got online after successful surgery Friday. I see I missed some excitement while I was away... big dip and big recovery... currently $8172USD/$10700CAD (Bitcoinaverage). It's pretty much back to where it was before I went in. Woke up and decided to fire up the laptop just in time to catch the end of the rally. I guess my bladder alarm still works. Nothing to do now but relax in the Mexican sun and convalesce until I get my sutures removed on Thursday. I can't fly for at least a couple more weeks but at least I can head out to the jungle later this week. I'm currently toothless with very fragile gums after bone grafts to my jaws. Needless to say, I'm on a totally liquid diet. Ever have pork tacos pureed in a blender? Delicious! Did anybody actually read Jimbos post ? Jimbo, i apologise in behalf of all these money orientated people here, they have nothing other than money in their brain. You heartless bunch. Also jealous. He's at the beach getting new teeth!

Yeah, brand new teeth are a great investment... and he supposedly bought them on a dip too in Mexico! Prompt and awesome recovery Jimbo!

oh man a test at 6000 looks cooked in at this point I don't usually find "drawing triangles" to have any use. But that triangle seems to match up perfectly with the next area of support. Maybe you found the one triangle that actually means something! This simple line is also signaling something... maybe...
