I still just find it hilarious how all the sheeple keep telling me bitcoin is crashed and burned.

Yet it is at 10x of a year ago.

Mouth open, eyes and minds closed!

They just don't understand that, in crypto:

<75% value down is a dip
<99% value down is a crash
>99% value down is a collapse

So bitcoin is only dipping right now. BTFD! Smiley

Lucky for you, you got relatively early in the pyramid

it won't be 10x from today in 1 year

1. You know nothing about me and yet presume so much

2. You make a statement as fact like that with no evidence or reasoning

Won't hold I believe.
We will go down, below 8k and maybe below 7k.
Way too many longs, high leveraged degen gamblers who will have to be washed out.
I'm not sure if the actual Senate hearing is already over but most of the old guys there seemed to have something against crypto. Cheesy
Only Emmer and Van Valkenbourgh seemed to know what's going on and had a clue. Sherman was the worst of all.

I can’t read charts and don’t know why Bitcoin is still going down?
I don’t have plans to sell any yet but would be grateful if peeps on here might have some clue as to when we will be trending back up??
That way I can stop checking the price until then. (Ostrich with his head in the sand until all this bearishness blows over).

I would have thought the second half of the year the price will be moving upwards mostly.

Most people feel like (rightly or wrongly) they don't have enough money first half of the year so investing is conservative probably. Second half of the year people usually have paid most of their taxes or big bills or feel like time is literally running out towards the end of the year -> FOMO.

Until May/June I don't expect to see BTC above $10K and even if it goes above it will probably be a modest rise.

I can try my best. So there are several different lines of support. 7500 is the previous high before the monster rally so that will probably be first. Next is the recent swing low of 6000. Then you have 2 highs ago that never got tested. That was at about 5000. The final line of support is the high at about 1300 from early march of last year. So hopefully one of these will arrest the decline. The question is which. I think the resistance will be very strong at 6000. Are there still people out there interested in bitcoin? Are there greedy people still on the sideline? Is 6000 going to look like an enticing price to them? I think yes. Anyway I'm not going to try to catch a falling knife myself. I will probably just watch and wait for some signs of a recovery before I buy back in.
