Deduct all credibility points from anyone who engages in a Brexit debate.
All that is for the statists.
Sovereignty is not an institutional matter, but an individual one.

I'll let you duke it out with Thomas Hobbes.

Much like 'American automobiles', 'British philosophers' are not a thing.
Move on, man, let the bitcoin flow through you.

Good to see Ned will remain in charge at Bitstamp, even if they are being sold.

Something is fishy.  The Bitfinex premium is getting wider, not narrower.  Its back up to $105 from $80 yesterday.  It's not supposed to widen for no reason.

Why is the EU trying to prevent the airplanes of one nation entering its countries? Perhaps more countries should refuse to fly there if they are excluding national aviation authorities. Such sanctions should not be tolerated internationally.

The EU is perfectly within their rights to enforce littering laws. Planes can make a mess when they crash in your yard or shed parts.

What really fucks me off, is the fact the UK's forums and comments boxes have been swamped with posters from Russia and China since the early 2010's.  Posing as "locals" with a grudge, a bit like realRoach but slightly more sophisticated,  sickening posts that are suposed to suck in the stupid (it worked).  Big business like facebook have been accepting viral adds, and fake news stories funded directly or indirectly from the Kremlin,  in a cyber war to try and divide Europe and weaken what they consider an enemy.

Nice Hillary Clinton talking points.  Why even bother typing nonsense that 99.99% of people who read it knows it's false?  That was even worse than reading a JayJuanGee post.  Next you're going to claim Jews have been kicked out of 109 different countries for absolutely no reason and nothing to do with their own behavior.

Internet is global, there are no borders.

If some Chinese wish to express their opinion on Brexit, or some Russians on U.S. midterms, good for them I say. It's their right. Deal with it. What's the best way to fight bad, false information? Maybe with good, truthful information, idk... Centrally not with censorship.

Speaking of kidnapping, where is Bob?

Recovering from Vegas.

Man. My nerves can't handle that place any more.

Too much input for me to process at once.

Getting old is... weird  Undecided

I'm really enjoying slowing down at this stage in life, TBH.

Been to Vegas twice, I’m in my early 30’s. The most recent time was this summer just passed & I admit it tired me out. All that damn walking is tough!

I can’t drink as much as I used to either.

Recovering from Vegas.

Man. My nerves can't handle that place any more.

I have an inner ear problem that occasionally flares up and destroys my balance, plus I find any sharp sounds intolerable. The last time it did was in Vegas. My elevator plunged 30 floors in a handful of seconds which properly set me off. When I attempted to step out of it my world exploded.

I spent an hour on the floor outside the elevator and then attempted to head out. Now I think about it Vegas was probably the worst place on the entire planet to have had a moment of that ilk. If nothing else I truly felt that I was trapped inside Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. It were nightmarish.

I had to negotiate with the security to let me use the stairs which they were extremely suspicious of.

Internet is global, there are no borders.

We could build an internet wall.  I've contemplated whether it's a good idea or not.  You see some guys make the claim that christianity is integral to western civiliation, right?  And it looks like it might be wrong at face value, but if you watch one of these hidden camera TV shows where they have a 100% functional bathroom then randomly call in 30 plumbers to see who tries to rip them off, you instantly realize how this might all be related.

Out of the 30 or so plumbers, like 20 of them will be brown people, with a lot of those being Indians and Pakistanis.  Literally EVERY SINGLE Indian or Pakistani tries to rip them off ALWAYS.  The biggest concentrations of scammers in these things seems to be from non-christian nations (which are coincidentally mostly brown nations).  So either a lack of christianity makes all these people psycho-scammers on steroids, or it's just brown countries in general.

The Indian guys also did weird shit on hidden camera like piss in a bucket on the floor then dump the bucket into the sink when there's a working toilet right in front of them, but that's a whole nother story.

Yes. And all sorts besides. Nothing works but most of the time it's fine. I just avoid lifts and try not to stay up all night too often as being knackered sets it off too. I also have tinnitus and flying sets off white hot needles burning in my sinuses.

The interior of my skull is a ruined wasteland. I will upgrade to a 3D printed carbon fibre skull when they're available.

And I'll fit it myself as I enjoy fiddling with things.
