Japanese cryptocurrency exchange Zaif, which was hacked for about $60 million last year, is under new management.

The exchange announced on its corporate website on Friday that, as of Monday, April 22, the firm will have signed over its business to publicly listed Japanese investment firm Fisco and full operations will be reinstated Tuesday.

The plan for the takeover was first aired in October 2018, and sees the exchange pass from its previous owner, Tech Bureau, to an existing crypto exchange owned Fisco. Friday’s post indicates that the deal cost Fisco 5 billion Japanese yen ($44.675 million).

In its September 2018 hack, Zaif lost approximately 7 billion yen ($62.5 million) in the bitcoin (BTC), monacoin (MONA) and bitcoin cash (BCH) cryptocurrencies.

Peter Rizun is firmly in the large block camp, and while there are questions over his previous thoughts and work, he is technical, and he offers a harsh eye over the Lightning Network. Yes, Peter’s approach has a bias, he wants the Lightning Network to fail to support his vision of larger blocks, but does this make his claims invalid?

Possibly and probably as I didn't see anything to the ability to add dynamic blocks, nor make a change at a later date as the current size is doing just fine overall.

There seems to be 2 camps and both are wrong.

Camp 1 is BTC is perfect and should never be changed ever (although they support lightning which seems to fly in the face of this).
Camp 2 is we need m0ar cores Blocks NOW !!!!! Drool....NOW!!!! (cause I hold bags of shit).

I don't know why everything has to get boiled to a binary choice, it is never black and white, the world is full of degrees and certainly nothing is ever perfect except for that one chick in that one moment in time and then well we know where that goes.
