Bitcoin Bottom was at $15.4k

LOL, are you telling me that the bottom is above $23,202?  Why didn’t you say so ten minutes ago?  Hahahah.

I published a chart where I mentioned BTC will reach 200 Weekly Moving Average in Feb 2022.
My ideology made me compare 2018 with 2022 where the above mentioned happened I could see it going the same way.

Just sold 0.05 BTC.  Pushed liquidation price down to about $22,080.  No choice with margin account health around 1.5%; last time I cut it this close (and I was at the computer fully functional), it was the first liquidation.  Another liquidation would dump more, with penalty.  (Not much more to dump, at this point.)

I chose the name for this forum account very well.

Congratulations to everyone who is buying BTC at these prices.

That is a mistake I think so,
Saving a trade by More margin is not really good idea that trade is already about to die and you want to save that trade by more money is a Hopeless decision unfortunately if you consider it the market crashes more ( I wish that should not happen ) What if then more margin is also dead and you sold precious holding as well.

Until you better know how to manage your own portfolio as my observation is about an Overall scenario.

Best of Luck my Wishes are with you.

Sorry, I entirely misread your chart.  I usually am not like that (but then, I usually do not sell BTC dirt cheap, or at all).

I was reducing leverage, not increasing it.  Ran out of resources to continue pouring into this account with continued risk of loss.... over a month ago.

My liquidation price is now just below current 200 WMA.  Enough to survive a tiny little wick below.  So...  I am allowed to log off for now, per the orders of the cruel master that has taken over my life:  BTC market price.  Newbies, AVOID MARGIN!

Quote
Everything is breaking.

Years of 0% interest rates encouraged everyone to take on cheap debt. Corporations, countries, individuals... Everyone.

Most of the debt wasn't used productively - meaning most of it will never be paid off.

And now that interest rates are rising...

Quote
Our current economic system REQUIRES more debt to survive.

Just take a look at this graph and you'll see that the amount of debt only goes one direction.

If we don't pile on more debt, the entire thing collapses - and that's what we're flirting with now: Systemic collapse.

Quote
The amount of new debt required to keep things propped up is at truly silly levels.

And the Fed is making one last attempt to deny reality by raising rates...

But the only way to stop our momentum is to slam into a brick wall of economic pain - which is exactly what's happening

Quote
We're seeing the chaos play out in all markets:

- Equities are tanking
- Bond yields are surging
- Currencies are plummeting vs. USD
- #Bitcoin selling off
- Shitcoins evaporating

There are very few places to hide. And cash is being eaten by inflation of 8%+

Quote
Here are some charts that illustrate how crazy things are getting:

1. German 10 year yields just broke through a 4 decade long trend line.

The German economy is being crushed by inflation, but the EU can't raise rates without bankrupting Italy and Greece. The EU is trapped.

Quote
2. The Japanese Yen, the 3rd largest currency in the world, is being destroyed by its central bank.

The Bank of Japan is buying UNLIMITED quantities of Japanese Government Bonds to prevent yields from going above .25%

Why? Above .25% and the Japanese banking system implodes.

Quote
Watching the Bank of Japan destroy the Yen offers a glimpse into the future of other major fiat currencies, including the USD.

When the debt becomes too large, yield curve control and destruction of the currency becomes one of the only ways out

Quote
3. Dollar weakness vs. the Russian Ruble.

Russia is done accepting cheap fiat for scarce goods. This severely limits the ability of Central Banks to kick the can by printing.

Russia is calling the fiat bluff - and the implications are massive.

Quote
4. Corporate bonds are falling off a cliff as investors realize that a lot of companies won't be able to pay off their debt at higher interest rates.

Companies that can't afford to refinance will need to layoff employees and liquidate assets which is bad news for everyone.

Quote
5. Let's take a quick peek at how mortgage backed securities are holding up through all of this... YIKES.

Fun Fact: The Fed says they're going to sell some of the MBS that they bought during QE. Good luck.

Quote
By now you get the point: The entire system is crumbling. Cracks are opening up and portfolios are tumbling to hell.

And yet... What can the Fed do? With inflation absolutely crushing people, can they really reverse course and fire up the money printers again?

Quote
Inflation in the real world (with pressure applied by Russia) means we're now facing an impossible policy choice: Mass default leading to systemic collapse, or continuing down the path towards hyperinflation.

Quote
And this finally brings me to #Bitcoin and why I'm calmly stacking through the chaos.

Let's be frank: The #Bitcoin price is melting down. It's testing the low $20K range as Celcius blows up and shitcoins head to zero.

But the value prop of Bitcoin remains exactly the same.

Quote
Everything that is playing out right now is why we've been stacking #Bitcoin to begin with.

The fiat system is falling apart. And we need a form of money that can be held safely outside of the system without counter-party risk.

I wonder if that chatty google AI is posting here (if it has Internet access)?

I imagine this is exactly how an AI would try and blend in..  Lips sealed

Not rly. Look at JJG more closely. He is "closed into his own loop". Pay close attention to him. He is the real "bot" AI.   Cool  Cool  Grin

A real AI, would speak very clunky. He/She/iT would speak very much, and would have a hard time trying to manifest "small"/short sentences.  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

After I read your post, I ran over to the mirror, and I did not see nuttin.

no reflection in a mirror just indicates youre a vampire.

of course nothing precludes you from being a vampire and an AI. well, pretty sure anyway.

Not your keys and all that. Is this the reason for the dump

To answer your question, not only this, but this is likely to make it a little worse.  The markets are primed to dump pretty hard today.  Hopefully Bitcoin has front run this a little in it's 24/7 trading cycle.

Hopefully most everyone has figured it out by now, but we are in for a really rough ride as a world, I think.  Bitcoin might be one of the safer harbors in the storm.

But it is still in the storm.

Somebody must know something we dont know. I would bet this is a small group of whales selling thousands of coins at this low price. I set a huge buy order at 20's even though I dont believe we go down that much. But then again it feels like there is no end to this dump. It's always the same routine first they attack the resistance with massive sell offs. Then they let it recover a bit and slowly grind back down to that level. Until the next massive attack on the next resistance.

Definitely someone's got the psychology of the Bitcoin (and maybe whole crypto) marked down pat. I wonder if AIs are at play.

Six months ago I'd have written this thought off as looney.

WTF guys? I thought only real Bitcoiners belong to WO.
Now I can see panicking from veteran members.
I become a full holder from a seasonal trader.
If I can still Hold, Why not you? I know Bitcoiners have balls.

Weekly RSI reached 2014 and 2018 bear markets.

Perhaps a possible grand finale capitulation dump like the Covid crash.
