Seems like a lot of fiat shitposting going on, any bitcoin discussions and/or speculation? Hoping for next ATH in next bull run as
Bearish - 245k
Middle of the road - 315k
Bullish- 645k

Fair enough.. but any attempt at placing these various top ranges in regards to how much, should also be attempting to tell us when that top might be?

Are you talking in the ballpark of 2 years from now?  or maybe a year and a half?

These are never easy questions.....

and the other part of the formula would be to perhaps tell us how you would play it.

Some guys say that they will HODL through and keep accumulating, and other guys expect that they are going to sell large portions of their stash.. but at the same time, we always have new entrants coming in along the way too.. so the new entrants might be a bit confused about what to do in terms of figuring out how to deal with where we are at (at any given point) and where we might be going.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Another day another AYH (barely) and still bouncing around in the $28k range.

Let's see what today brings.

Back on the generator, not because of scheduled infrastructure upgrades but because of a freak voltage dip that seems to affect our entire neighborhood. Some stuff works, some doesn't. We need the generator for the air conditioner but our internet works fine and some of our LED lights work while some are dead and others flicker. Normally when we're on the generator the internet is down because our 2-man service provider has no power. Damnedest thing I ever saw. I don't have a voltmeter to see exactly what's happening and our local electrician is out of town.

Life in the jungle. Tomorrow we head back to "civilization".

I imagine that a "2-man" electrical service has something to do with riding bikes to generate power.. and maybe two man allows for shift-work?

low voltage is really hard on motors/compressors. as in easy to burn them out as they will try to draw more amps to compensate.

(modern) solid state stuff is much more tolerate of low voltages as modern switching power supplies run from like 90 volts and up.

I somehow missed the above prediction and I'd say we aren't even going to the bearish 245k, here's why.
We could say the last bull market was low yield. It only took ups up from 20 to 70 and that's very weak compared to 2013 and 2017. If this continues or stays comparably low we'll reach close to 3x 70 in the next 2 years and reach 200-220k.

But may be the real top was 60k? 70 was reached with a much lower volume. If the real macro top was 60k that would put us below 200k at the next ATH.

There's even a worse scenario.
If the cycles are going to keep bringing less profit each time it would mean less than 3.5x this cycle. Maybe 2x this time and 1.5x next cycle, which would give us 140k by the end of next year and 200k 4 years later.

Loving that green dildo reaching the $32,000 level.  Kiss

+3.3 WO Merits.

What do you guys think will happen in April? Are you going to climb further above $30000 or are we going to be stuck in the $25000-30000 range because this is the best Bitcoin has looked in a year and I think the overall mood is good but I never know how to gauge the trend of a bull market. I think the WO squad are more insightful then a lot of the internet so I am keen to hear your opinions about where you think we are heading.

IDGAF what happens in April.

Hopefully a giant meteor impacts the planet and we all go extinct overnight for all I care.

correction incoming?
Really?

How do you know?

And, how do you define correction?

Does it matter, even if it takes us back down to $24k or $25k.. that is hardly even significant, is it?

How are any of us going to play this?

Is Hyperjacked selling yet?

How about others who are playing those kinds of games?

Will it work to pick up more cornz or contribute towards having fewer cornz?

I know.. gamblers have difficulties with these matters, and I am pretty sure that you (Gachapin) are not into playing those kinds of swings.. even though tempting, right?

Are you tempted?

Any regular (or self-described) HODLer tempted to play it?  or try to play it?

By the way, some of the traders will not tell us what they did until either after they did it or after it worked out for them, and there will be crickets about the times that they did it and it did not work out so rosily well for them...

Today, in an interview with Pompliano (towards the end of the interview.. maybe in the last 15 minutes or so), I even heard Raoul Pal admit that he would have been better off if he had not been trading bitcoin.. not too common for the traders to admit those things, even though he still has been a bit self-selective in some of his representations in regards to the bullshit and the shitcoin pumpening that he had been doing in the past couple of years.
I would not consider my trades earlier this month gambling but instead investing like stock trading with a strategy…

Of course, "they" all have prudent strategy (while winning)...

You forgot the line:  "don't try this at home."

“Investing allows for thoughtful research and analysis, assessment of probable risk-adjusted returns and shared wealth among many investors and the company itself. Everyone can win in the market over enough time. Only one can win with gambling. Therefore, the stock market isn’t gambling.”

Sounds good, in theory...

So whose theory is it?  especially if there are quotation marks ("") included?

“The Difference between Gambling and Cryptocurrency
Gambling is based on chance, while cryptocurrency is based on mathematics and cryptography. With gambling, you are betting against the casino house, but with cryptocurrency you are betting against other people that have the same or similar amounts of money as you do.”

Oh my.

You are pushing it.

Have you heard about dee cornz?  which happens to be what we be talkin about here, willis.

Currently the risk reward is not in my favor so I will not be doing any trading…just holding !

That's good.  You do have some "temporary" senses.

Does it sound like I don't believe you?

Me gots 30k$ cornz In da bifolds 😝

Cheers Jay 🥂

I am a pretty big fan of buying and accumulating, but surely, if you bought your cornz one or two cycles ago, and maybe you need some money along the way, then maybe selling some cornz might be o.k. - especially for a longer term HODLer... andd especially if the price is going up and especially if you are not selling very much.. and maybe even especially (am I running out of "especiallies?") if you might have bought some cornz in 2015 (around the time of your forum registration date)..

Go figure.  Tongue

Dang Jay…I fell asleep while reading your post .lol. Do you get paid per word or sentence…?😂

My registration date is 2015 for this alias… I have two others that go back to 2012 when I first heard about Bitcoin and started accumulating.

For me trading Bitcoin is not gambling… for one I trade a relatively small amount of my stash and two I use strict trading methods.

I still think things will play out like I mentioned back in January:

If I have to describe in one sentence the price action in 2019 and 2020 it would be "The battle for 10K". I'm just curious which will be the new 10K for 2023 and 2024 - 30K, 40K or even 50K? My guess is 40K.

My guess is $29,900 will become the new $9,900.

It'll go sideways for what seems like forever, occasionally teasing > $30k only to get squashed down over again and again.  Roll Eyes

But it'll still be a good thing, because On Like Donkey Kong.

The price is definitely going to be range-bound for a very loooong time as long as Fed rates stay this high. And I'm sure the Fed is LOVING all these new rounds of layoff announcements, hence rates will stay high.

Companies be like: "Hey...maybe if we lay off 8-10,000 employees like every few months instead of 100,000 all in one go, maybe over time no one will notice..."  Wink
