Secret hat club - We keep out hats in our hearts. Oh yeah, no offense to the amazing haberdasher who created my hat, I would request my removal from the formal "hat gang". I'll always love my hat, but it's something I've had to sadly place in my trophy case, as a memory of a better time.

Seems to be resistance at $28,4xx
The FED releases CPI tomorrow, they might have to pause rate hikes due to the mess the banking system is in. If they pause or increase rates by 25 bps, I expect us to break $29,000 and who knows, maybe break $30,000 for the first time in what feels like forever. If they increase by 50 bps or more we might dump, stocks would tank too.
Obviously long term meh, who cares, the $ is trending to 0 & bitcoin is the future but short term we like to pump so hoping for a good day tomorrow.

Bitcoin is sitting at 28,300$ and it looks like it will test 28400$ for the 4th time this week… will break through today…or go lower is anyones guess. I think higher today…

I have a source that swears it will be +0.25% He is a recently retired banker. Ie smart enough to leave his bank in 2022 as rates rose.

It would be a wild time indeed if that happens.

A very very very Off topic thing…..
I do not smoke….. I do sport (CrossFit a lot), but I also like my fine dinner and parties from time to time…. Some in here will know… Now this party thing goes accompanied by things not always good for health but I’m aware of those…. Question what I don’t know …………. I did some “vape” use on the Parties which evolved to using vape’s in normal weeks as well…. Is this damaging or not “grey area” imo …. Who can tell me something more about if vapes are bad or not (could easily quit them)

Vaping saved me from real cigarettes (and cigars too). I felt the benefits the very same day! No funny breathing wheezes in bed.
Vaping isn't proven to be harmless, but if it has any effects, they are subtle and not apparent in short timeframes. I'd say: if it isn't addictive for you (e.g. it contains no nicotine, or there is nicotine but you only do a few puffs now and then), it's safe enough. Just a bit of common sense will go a long way IMHO.

a lot depends on the atomizer/heating element and such. as metal heating coils can offgas (not sure think thats the term) nasty stuff. and juice should be from a company lab that lab tests and with lot numbers.ie gas station quality juice has who knows what in it. dont do it. even with good gear its still not harmless but much less harmful that tobacco.

This depends on the type of vape. Liquids turned out to be less harmless than they were considered until today. Stabilizers and other additives are not yet proven to be safe, nor how safe, and i often got that sense of "who cares" attitude by liquid vapers, most of them were smokers before (and didn't care much about their health too, back then). I use two types of vaporizers, a full automatic tabletop device and a manual, pen-type one (using a lighter) and i only vape pure herb(s). In 98% of the times i know the origin (grower) and everything about the plant, which fertilizers and growth substrates were used, i even look after the electrical installation of one grower's growroom, so i know most of my weed in and out. The remains are "presents", and i don't always know how bioorganic they were grown. Mold is another issue when vaping herbs, you don't have these kind of problems with liquids and tabs. I am not interested in nicotine, i never tolerated it too well and never turned back when i quit smoking, which is more than 10 years ago now. The occasional weekend vape shouldn't do much more harm than walking around for some time in a city with heavy traffic or smog. As long as the droplets are not as small to get into the lung alveoles too far, the tissue is able to heal itself as long as you give your lungs a break from the vaping. IMHO I was vaping dry weed using around 190°C on almost daily basis for more than 20 years now, with a few breaks of some weeks in between (while smoking, tho), my lungs are feeling fine, suffering none of the usual smoker's side effects like coughing, shortbreathedness, high blood pressure etc. my three cents.

Do you mean e-cigarette vapes, or cannabis vaping? These are some of the risks for e-cigarette vapes. It can damage your heart's health, and if I remember right you recently had some sort of heart operation. There's also a risk of asthma, among other things. https://www.healthline.com/health/is-vaping-worse-than-smoking-cigarettes#takeawayBoth smoking and vaping irritate your airways and lungs, which can contribute to several health conditions affecting your lungs, including:
asthma chronic bronchitis emphysema Certain vape products may contain diacetyl, a chemical that manufacturers use to add a buttery flavor to some vape “juices.” Diacetyl links to the development of popcorn lung, a condition involving permanent scarring to your airways. Smoking links to high blood pressure, heart rate, and a general worsening of cardiovascular function. ... A 2020 World Health Organization brief noted that 20% of heart disease-related deaths link to smoking.
The effects of vaping on heart health are less clear, but research links it to similar increases in blood pressure and heart rate.
A 2022 study compared exercise stress test results among people who vape, smoke, and those who neither vape nor smoke. People in the vaping group consistently performed worse than those in the control group but slightly better than those in the smoking group. E-cigarettes haven’t been around long enough for experts to fully understand the link between their use and cancer risk. But many products contain some of the same carcinogens that cigarettes do, including:
formaldehyde acetaldehyde nitrosamines
E-cigarettes tend to contain lower levels of harmful chemicals. If you currently smoke cigarettes, vaping can reduce your exposure to these chemicals and potentially decrease your cancer risk. But if you don’t currently vape or smoke, using e-cigarettes may increase your cancer risk.
