Grayscale's lawyer just submitted a letter today to the judge in their case about the 2x Bitcoin Futures ETF $BITX being approved and how that just adds to their case about how the hell can that exist and not a vanilla spot etf? Source

Even if i almost never post to any other thread on this forum, it's a YAY for me. OT: Last night i came to shoot a gaseous nebula (aka "Veil Nebula"), and almost every 2 minute sub-exposure of the first hour of imaging had at least one satellite streak in it. I have to wait for more clear nights to get more data before moonrise, but i plan to do a separate version of the picture with only the satellite-streak images included, which would probably look quite interesting. Stay tuned, brothers. And fuck Elon, by the way. Skylink is really messing up summertime nightsky imaging and amateur astronomy

Nay. I find merit whores amusing. If anything, figure out a way to ban any linking to Twitter. That's what's really annoying.

You think Groundhog Day movie is boring? Not as boring as any Star Wars movie. well when i saw the original star wars in the theater back in the 70s it was pretty rockin. the rest of the series, along with that reissue they did of the original with more effects did stink though.

Empire was OK at the time but when I saw revenge and a bunch of teddy bears waddling with spears killing storm troopers I just about puked and it only went down hill from there. Always was a Trekkie until after the next generation, everything good gets destroyed, I cant even force myself to watch the woke drivel they put out under the franchise now.

I also saw the original in the theater when it first came out. I thought it was childish. I appreciate good realistic science fiction but it reminded me more of a fairy tale, all action and drama but not much science. I find it fitting that Disney has taken over the franchise. What's next? LGBT Han Solo and Princess Leia of color? I realize I'm in the minority and millions worldwide think it rocks, To each their own. There's no accounting for taste.

About "hard" scifi-I enjoyed reading the "Three body problem" and two subsequent parts of the trilogy. Very much looking forward to the Netflix series in January, albeit knowing that people can make something incomprehensible with it (as Apple did with the "Foundation"). We shall see.

Would you go on a date with Ivanka Trump if she paid you 1 #Bitcoin ? The only catch is you have to wear a MAGA hat and she will call you “Daddy” for the entirety of the date. Source I would go on a date with her or her father or biden or his wife or kamela for 1 btc. It is just a date.
