Beijing market is in meltdown, so expect some temporary gains in Bitcoin. Next few hours will be interesting.
But we will be back to 230 by Friday.
I will buy 10 BTC for 230 on friday from you...what do you say? So will I even tho that won't happen but your selling will help the bitcoin market as a whole. Scoot and lost while the rest of us make out big. Thx

I see the bears are shorting again here at 300. It is basically a last stand for them. Any appreciable buying now will eviscerate the remaining 10,666 shorts on finex. Place your bets! If the bears don't understand or care to learn about the context of the market compared to its prior actions--that is, how the last six months has been coiling the spring of this rally--they deserve to lose money. Yep, they will get flatlined and embarrassed to hell and back. Thanks for your commentary and analysis for putting them where they belong. BC, is on top of this crypto game.

You either need to have brass balls or be fresh out of the Babypips School for Retail Traders to short this. The probable direction is clear.
The hammer has spoken clear and present danger to those that are in disbelief. Not a good position to be in at this point.

Bitcoin is currently at the same stage you just hodl your long position until the market stops looking bullish
For a permabull the market always looks bullish. Only trolls can't see that the whole crash from ~1200 to ~160 is nothing more than a bull flag! if you just look at the chart BTC is currently for the first time really in a bullish phase... The problem is there is nothing fundamental backing this Bull-trend up like Interest rate decision etc. pp. There's fundamentals backing up of long term bull trend: - fiat QE and the debt mess combined with BTC limited supply
- useful integrated payment network (uncensorable, hidable)
- people start to 'get that'
add some time to that mix and you'll have quotes like damn, I wish I was one of those early adopters buying bits in 2015 at 0.0003 USD/bit

Well good morning Bitcoinland.
You know there are things like timezones right? LOL I just stumbled on this post now. Yes of course I know about time zones, an invention of Sanford Fleming, I believe. You seem to be missing the point of my repetition. It's always morning, afternoon, evening or night somewhere in the world, but it's always morning in Bitcoinland. It's like my formerly frequent references to coffee. When I realized some people totally missed the metaphor and thought I was talking about the beverage, I toned it down a notch. I can't believe that some people reacted so negatively to what was intended to be a pleasant daily hello and recap of the day's status. At least your comment was civilized. Some people actually seemed perturbed and made a more hostile response. To these people I'll just say, "Get a life". Cheers. says the man with nothing to say but says it everyday anyway... good morning bitcoinland still nothing new to say i see still, sideways is good scorn & waffle etc...

QFT As an investment, it is anyone's guess... However if you want a transparent and international currency tailor made for use with the internet, that has a predictable and diminishing inflation along with the notable distinction that it doesn't have an army attached to it, then it would be very hard to find a better choice.

BTC-e is still more than $10 below other USD markets. Any reasons for this? I doubt the fatfinger/flash crash has to do with it anymore as that was a while ago. Ideas?

I'm tempted to use my ignore button for those kind of things. But since we all are "the market", also the trolls, I'd rather read all bullshit too to get a good feeling which direction we're heading.

I doubt that the trolls make up a sizable portion of the market. They're trolls because they feel left out, after all
