All aboard the failboat at that hospital. Their entire IT department should be fired for not having backups, having users with admin accounts on desktops and for being complete flunkies. Then the management should be fired for not funding security.
Flunkies.

Or how about you bitcoiners just, maybe, not h4xx0r hospitals? How would that be? @pizza77: nah, it's actually good for Bitcoin -- the hospital will have to buy 9,000 BTC, CCMF!!

Seriously, never thought someone would hack a hospital database & hold it for ransom. Plumbing new lows, guys. Children & cripples next?

There is more democracy in China than in the US. Political class in China (the Communist Party) has 4 wings competing for leadership while political class in US (the Establishment) has only 2 wings. So, the political monopoly is in the US not in China!

No, it means that soon, Bitcoin will share its legal status with child porn, you edgy kid you Bitcoiners are proving, time and time again, that they ain't got the most rudimentary of scruples -- the sort that stop people from shitting in the middle of a living room of a house they've been invited to, or a church. And the ones like yourself, who haven't shat, cheer & bray "nya nya, you can't get him, call the internet CEO, durr!" Of course, no one calls the internet CEO, they call the cops & FBI. And nasty, draconian laws get passed. Of course, attitudes like yours also make Bitcoin as attractive to the average Joe as syphilis & cancer.

They were both terrible places to live, especially if you were a minority. If ANYONE has the Bitcoin kill switch, and somebody certainly does, that means our project has failed at censorship resistance.
