wave 5 complete? nah. I think we are growing at an ok rate. looking at the all time chars in log we aren't over a linear line. the only time we've broken it is a bubble. if we stay like this I don't think its a bubble.

6370+. I was thinking: When it was 1k or so a year ago I couldn't have imagined it would go up by a factor of five.
Now I wonder if it will go up by another factor of 5 to 30k. Not unbelievable.
C
If it does my life will change more than I could ever imagine. Ditto...as I said to a friend on here two months ago....we'd better go back to thinking of BTC as fairydust/unicorn/tulip/imaginary rainbow money ..or we are gonna lose our minds ..it has worked for awhile as a 'mental' excercise ...er now at these prices not so much.... wait...doing that means my mind is already gone...on the other hand...thinking of this as REAL money is also unbelievable er....dumbstruck ..... denial of the inevitable is getting hard...but acceptance of the inevetable is also somewhat impossible...so I guess I'll just continue to stand about 'slackjawed' in awe...

I wanted some insightful analysis of the recent price rise so I checked out r/Economics/ and this is what I got: Imagine a bunch of kids at an all you can eat buffet. One of the kids is slowly eating a salad and he seems healthy and reasonably happy, though he is eating slowly. There is another kid, who is fat as all hell, who is cramming ice cream into his mouth as quickly as his bulbous hands can heft it to his face. Beside him, a pool of vomit on the floor. The fat child's parents see your look and say "Its alright, he threw up from vanilla Ice Cream, we switched him to chocolate, its totally different." https://www.reddit.com/r/Economics/comments/79wc4c/bitcoin_hits_alltime_high_after_cme_group_says_to/dp5owh7/Those guys are so smart I can't even understand what the hell they are talking about!

Just some observations I've had over the past 2 years dealing with fiat as a merchant. Last year in Canada, all banks became required to deposit to your account first any funds you wish to exchange over the counter for different denominations. Many customers have slowly stopped using cash and now rely almost entirely on a card be it credit or debit. Today I called my bank to make a large order of 100's for later in the week. Teller: Um... hmmm... ok, er... well 100's are getting hard to get now. I'll put your order down but we can't guarantee it will arrive.
Holy shit! The bank is having a hard time getting cash?
I'm seeing it happen in lots of small ways over the past few years. I think there's a play to eliminate cash in the near future. If this is even close to accurate, that could be incredibly bullish for Bitcoin. After the phone call with my bank I even contemplated just buying the ATH and taking my short term chances. I think we will see bitcoin over 30K by this time next year. Under 10K will sound cheap very soon me thinks. And this current rally might not be close to larger correction yet.
