Can't bitch though. As long as the total of my Bitcoin and all my giftcoins is over $10kCAD, I'm happy.

And someone said that miners switching 2/3 of hash-power to BCH is irrational? It's many times more rational than the stand quoted above where one only cares for the current price, like it is important if the price is $5000 or $10.000 . Those miners at least have electricity bill to pay every month, what can be justification for only blindly caring about the price at the moment? Price will cache up in a month, a two or in six months, it doesn't matter, risking to break BTC by not dumping BCH in the face of the scammers trio is totally foolish.

I can't do that because of privacy reasons, I admit I may set the fee a little lower than average but last time a made few transactions half a year ago it was confirmed in few hours in worst case.

If it's gone that long without confirming now, you'll probably have to rebroadcast. Also, if you mark transactions as RBF, you have the option to bumb up fees during congestion.

cheap bastard Grin

I'm shocked that anyone would even try to do transactions over the weekend or even right now. Just let the backlog clear out another day or two, and fees will drop back to normal and confirmations will go through quicker.

I used Electrum with the option "increase fee" Never paid more than 2 USD in one hour.
Of course, thats no argument for crypto. No coffee paying here. Thats for crypto 2.0.

It's like a line a mile long forms at L.A.'s hottest new club, and this chump tries to bribe the doorman with a $5 bill to slip in through the front door.

IMHO thinking some silly little scamcoins will "break" Bitcoin is foolish.

I'm not going to rage dump my giftcoins just because I don't agree with their creators or the ideology behind them.

The only coins I ever mined or bought are real Satoshi bitcoins. They're still in their paper wallets. If someone wants to give me forkcoins, they'll be there too.

I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. I'll also count them while assessing the value of my wallets.

Guys, i think bitcoin is the better version of Gold, don´t mind the slow transaction times, it´s just a store of value, and for that it´s a good place for your money.

Ok dude... don't even go there.

With everything that happened this weekend and the massive backlog created by Ver/Wu and their army of spammers, if you still wanna go there, then I'll just say go use BCH and GTFO troll.

If I was able to massively spam the BCH network right now and create such a backlog, they'd be seeing $6 transaction fees too.

Now pls fk off, I don't have time to waste rehashing the same tired arguments from 3 years ago with yet another troll.  If you want lower transaction fees, either wait for the backlog to clear and the mempool to empty. Otherwise look forward to LN. Or go use another crypto. Or whatever.

Another troll to my list /ignore

Yeah, what happened over the weekend was totally safe, no reason to worry at all. Let the others risk by putting their money where their mouth is, it's safer to sit on two chairs.
