We have seen this a couple times before when the market raised quickly, a minor crash followed by a quick re-buy in. Think it is because Ms. market is jumpy and expects a correction. Think we'll hit 140 again in 6 hours.
+1 If the spring pattern repeats itself.

Gentlemen. Let's play a game. 'Call the bottom'. Is it just a minor swing downward? Is it this the end of our beautiful July uptrend? Doesn't matter, just tell us what you think the bottom will be.
Guess I'll have to go first. I'm afraid we'll see a few more red candles, but we might have seen the bottom already at 130. The worst I can see is testing 125.
Who's next?

Low for today is probably in ... Next x hours, bounce to $140 followed by a lower low ... $115- 120 Over the next week I think we will see a low of $114 on MtGox ($102 on Bitstamp), both just above the late-July/early-Aug support level. Then a sustained rally to the $140s. Looking at the all-important monthly chart the $140 level will have been tested for the 5th time which is significant long term.

So will many I suspect I said it before ... $100 to $148 was heavily manipulated rally on no volume ... I don't know about that. There was quite a bit of volume on bitstamp. And even on mtgox, just not spread evenly but in the form of a few big buys. If this would have been upwards manipulation, i.e. pump and dump, it would have failed pretty badly. more likely the rally was real, just not based on broad support but on a few big buyers.

If only you guys just received the call I did. I would be buying if I were you.
"Adam, this is Mike from eBay and we would like it if you could call me back. As a seller of bitcoin on eBay we would love to get some feedback and input about your experience with bitcoin as we work to incorporate it into eBay"
After I called him back and we had a nice discussion he closed the phone call with "well we are just trying to wrap ourselves around it and want to try and stay ahead of the curve just like I think most larger corporations are right now, thank you for your time."
For any doubters my eBay user name is Jamsolid101 you can see that I was a very active seller of Casascius coins. I imagine contacting their users who actively sold bitcoins on ebay is the first step in their leading upto determining whether or not to actually incorporate it.
There may be some bounces coming but if eBay signs on for BTC there is one very large very green upward movement coming.
You heard it here first. 9/4/2013 eBay is moving toward utilizing and/or allowing bitcoins to freely be bought and sold and/or incorporating it as a payment method via PayPal.

"Mike" from EBay asking you about the anonymous cash of the interwebz? And you didn't ask him his last name and position in the company? Sounds good btw

Not really. Ebay (via Paypal) made their position on potential bitcoin integration public in April, possibly before that. Most people dismissed it as them being dismissive (irony?), but I've had reasons to believe otherwise in the meantime.
