Resistance is still extremely strong to push this down below 11k.
Hoping bears are almost out of powder ;-)
EDIT: And down it goes ...

LMFAO at all the Youtube Crypto personalities that sprang up last year.
While the momentum trade was going in 2017, they all acted like total and seasoned 'Crypto Experts'. Like they knew exactly why Bitcoin, or this shitcoin or that, was going up, and why. They told all their followers that they should invest in this or that.
Now that the momentum trade is over, they are floundering around and haven't got the slightest clue what the crypto market is doing. Fucking hilarious.
I predict that if the market goes sideways for another 6-12 months, most of them will completely vanish from Youtube, or at least 90+% of their followers will unsubscribe and drop off.
Agree with you In 2014-2016 there wasn't that much content on youtube about bitcoin and crypto and if there was it was mostly educational and informative, the people on there now seem to just shill their "Top 5 picks" and you're right they all put themselves out there as crypto experts. It used to rage me pretty hard that someone would put up videos giving advice when they had only been into crypto for a couple months. And don't even get me started about the bitconnect youtube shills...

Where's our next local top? I think 12k.
11.8k to 12.2k will be in the trenches. Big boy pants required.

<snip> I'm curious how much of your bad experiences with players, as you have described, boil down to their own fundamental inexperience playing with a band.
As a producer myself, I find I'm brutally harsh on myself when it comes down to final mix - making sure everything ebbs and flows properly across the piece. Making sure no one element overpowers another unless I choose to accent a particular segment.
Shit like this takes at least a decade to hone.
Much of the guitar problem playing out live is immaturity, insecurity, or lack of direction. If a guitar player is immature, overplaying is sometimes just a lack of experience. If the player is insecure (no matter their age, especially if there are other good players present) sometimes they overplay as if it's a pissing match, and showing off. A jam, with a rotating cast of many is bad for encouraging this. A gigging band should be tight, know exactly what is coming up next. No extra times around for an extra solo unless it is really happening, and the crowd is reacting accordingly Strong band leadership and rehearsal makes this happen. In a recording session, the producer is king. One of the best guitar players I have ever seen has traveled the country several times gigging. He used to be in a band with Sheryl Crowe before she hit ("she wasn't that good, at the time", he says). Now he is a painter with a mortgage, wife and kids. He has a room of amps, another room of guitars. He says it is his 401k, but he loves them too much to sell any. He is a white guy, plays in an all-black soul band (and in several other bands), and in the soul band, he is magnificent. He plays a lot of our jams, and he is overplaying, arrogant, and way too loud on stage. The soul band has strong leaderhip, and he keeps it in line. In the jam, there is lax leadership. He is trying to be the biggest fish in the pond.

You gotta think BIGGER than that. $11,200 is cake... or easie peasie. Let me see breaking above $12k before I begin to believe - It may take a day or two to get to $12k-ish, if we are going there, and then breaking above would be a decent sign of UP.

Yeah, it broke 11k but not very convincingly yet. However it also broke a downtrend from the ATH at 20k ~ so that's that. I think there is potential and momentum right now to touch 12k again today or tomorrow.

If we can get to ~$11,600, the inverse H&S will be complete. That should get us at least to the major resistance at ~$12,800.

Music isn't a competition. It's all about cooperation. Any real musician's ears are far more important than his hands.
