I tried all the exchanges and I ended up with Okex because it was the only one that worked for me today, even now exx.com doesnt work, but you are right Okex is the worst price for UBTC, better check the others just in case they are working for you.
Feels a bit sad all these forks coming to and end, its been real nice while it lasted. The only ones I'm waiting on now are Lightning Bitcoin (LBTC) & Bitcoin Atom
Yeah, these third-rung exchanges can be very flaky. Always try the sites though Tor if you're having problems. Not sure we've seen the end of this forking madness yet, but our free bags of money do seem to be dwindling. Managed to do UBTC but BTCP doesn't support segwit wallets and since the fork happened after I moved my coins to a Segwit enabled address I am screwed until they release a wallet that can do segwit. By then the price will undoubtedky tank as usual.
Legacy addresses definitely have an advantage when it comes to claiming shitforks. The BTCP wallet from Bittrex will open up for withdrawal soon, so there could be some big dumpage. You'll also want to sell, as there's chatter that they'll burn unclaimed coins next year. If you are in a hurry you can dump your coins here r/bitcoinairdropstrades. I dumped my LBTC&BTCP and some other airdrop coins before they even get listed on the exchanges. OTC trades are risky though. Don't do it If you don't know what you are doing. Yep, sold my LBTC there. Has been doing around 0.5%, but the price seems to have dipped recently.

At least Bitcoin trading doesn't give you increased flatulence, nausea and intestinal cramping (unless you just lost $1 million).
Perspective: Apologies in advance if this comes off as a brag-post, but fuck losing $1M. Your entire perspective changes when you see your portfolio swing $10M in the matter of a couple days. Learn how to ride those waves for few years of HODLing and <insert Mr Bean on Rollercoaster.gif> All I can do is sit back and either laugh or shrug. (Please keep in mind my entire stash at this point is "house money", so perhaps my perspective is atypical) If Bitcoin trading is a serious cause of, no-bullshit real life stress like stomach cramps and other anxiety symptoms, then perhaps that is a sign you may be a bit over exposed. Nevermind your physical health. That's just fundamentally not financially healthly. yeah..from the $18k high I'm down more than 50%....from high in value...with more of this Mt. Gox drama...where he seems to sell at the low in a panic sell mode....my concern is if the Mt. Gox trustee has a deadline where he needs to move all the BTC to USD...if so we could be looking at last January 2017 $1,000 BTC again Best case right now I can see is 'sideways' as we digest this Mt.Gox stuff and that could go on all year (worse if he has a hard deadline to xfer BTC to USD) FML indeed!

Life's too short to stress yourself out over something like money. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFxjnUPRwx4I find the less you worry about it, the easier it comes.

Maybe you handled it better because you were hodling rather than day trading like TERA. He got serious brain/nerve damage from it. ... Oh yes this is me. I have serious brain/nerve damage from the sequelea of consequences of bitcoin trading and would return every satoshi for my old life back. I also lost a job and spent half of my profits supporting myself for a long time until I found my next job.

This should show some sense to those envious guys who say "you just got free money with this bitcoin thing". Very few things in life are "free".

Some kind of slow polyneuropathy like what happens when you have diabetes. According to ILADS doctors and their alternative testing its lyme and/or bartonella but it might be something else. I also had vitamin B6 toxicity and I have a list of other things I wont share. 2 years ago I was the epitome of health and was running 10Ks
I wish the best for you TERA. I will miss your concise unfailing perspective in these discussions. I hope you can find relief from what you are suffering from. My father had type 2 diabetes and had horrible pains from peripheral neuropathy for many years..its no joke. My prayers are with you. I was writing this last night but was exhausted after spending the day with my kids. The market has taken a 180 degree turn. Is this just exiting or have the tides changed? Here is my take on it. Now on to something that has become equally depressing for many..bitcoin. The market has definitely had a bearish Saturday. Sentiment has fallen and so has the price as I am sure you have all notice. I would like to point out the large block in the charts below. It is where money came back into the market in February..a large amount of it. I say this because it lines up with support before the December run up as well. Now if MM's decide to push through the current support at 8700-8900 then we will just deal with it I guess. We had strong support in the 8500-8200 range also so I hope we catch a recovery line start before then. That is mid point of the largest buy in since September..previously it was November of 2015. If the price breaks downward much more past where the top of the box is that money will have to start defending itself. Those that are worried about the MtGox trustee..I say dump the coins now while the price is still low..and on exchanges too, it gives everyone a better shot at equal distribution. The hedge fund Bridgewater has around 160 billion AUM I hear and it is 1 of 10,000+ funds like it globally. I wonder how many are still scrambling at this point to enter the market while coins are still cheap. The clouds are already parting on the horizon. Someone already mentioned this but.. +1 WOsMerit It announced that the Chinese Bank Governor has indicated that cryptocurrencies will be regulated. That seems like bullish news to me but will have to wait and see how it develops. https://www.ccn.com/china-will-move-slowly-to-regulate-crypto-central-bank-governor-says/Here is more recent data without wavelet denoising. Newton's third law in effect. Good morning Bitcoinland.
Still bouncing along in the $9k range I see... currently $9200USD/$11783CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
Ho hum.
Quitting is easy. Just don't smoke.
+10 WOsMerits +5 WOsMerits for the rest of you lovely people. bitcoiners are amazing. Its nice to see differences put aside what one of our tribe is down and suffering. Inspire someone today. #cryptouplift

Good morning Bitcoinland. Still bouncing along in the $9k range I see... currently $9200USD/$11783CAD (Bitcoinaverage). Ho hum. How long did the withdrawal symptoms last, and how bad were they?
I was pretty angry and irritable for a solid 6-8 weeks before I started chilling out. I guess I'm lucky. I quit a 2-pack-a-day habit 33 years ago almost by accident. I caught such a nasty cold/flu/pneumonia I was in bed for 3 days barely getting up to re-hydrate myself and go to the can. When my fever broke and my mind cleared, I realized I hadn't had a smoke in 3 days. I didn't need to quit. I just needed to not start smoking again. Quitting is not an action. Smoking is. All you need to do to quit is to not do anything. To smoke you need to acquire tobacco and fire, light the cigarette and inhale. Unless you're actively smoking, you've already quit. Just don't start again. I suffered no withdrawal symptoms. Maybe I had them when I was in my feverish delirium and wasn't aware of them. I also didn't suck out like a whiny little crybaby and totally avoid tobacco smoke. I continued to mix a little tobacco in the occasional hash doob. I chose to sit in the smoking sections of smoking-segregated restaurants and in the smoking cars of trains. I found that non-smoking sections were full of anti-smoking fussbudgets and I find secondhand stress far more offensive than secondhand smoke. The smoking sections generally have a higher caliber of people. I also found that people take their annoying brats to the non-smoking areas. Quitting is easy. Just don't smoke. Damn! My T-zone us gettin'all T-ngly 'n stuff now.
