Hypothesis: MtGox never gets out from DDoS and another trade is never executed leaving the price at 371 forever. Enough people are too stupid to use their brains and continue to look at Gox for the price. BTC is stuck at 371 foooooooreveeeeeeeeeer.

You know a mandatory trading window would be great, when MTGox would be closed for maintenance. this 24/7 thing is not good, especially when there is No communication from these clowns. They got rich off the community's back and they don't care.
They should say something like, first of the month between x-x AM/PM we will shut down services and they should schedule change requests / maintenance for that window.
This no communication for ANYTHING that happens at MTGOX is deplorable, i'm going to move everything to bitstamp now that i have QT bitcointrader working.

i can't access the btcchina.com either...how about you guys?
for me it works from europe.. work for me now too, but not if you type just url btcchina.com...you must use the whole url with www...i guess the problem is not ddos, but only wrong or no redirecting on the url without www... Works for me from East Coast US. Hey proudhon. Saw you say in other threads you wouldn't want to come here any more? Well, welcome back, whichever opinion on future price you may hold.

So what's going to happen once Gox got rid of that lag? I mean, are people currently able to place orders but they are simply not processed? Or aren't they able to place orders at all?
Just wondering because I'd like to anticipate what's going to happen once the lag is gone. Will we see thousands of sell orders suddenly being executed or would people have to place them first?

let's see if they can top the fail even more.... how about a rollback to last backup because the DB is corrupt? (you DO have backups, right?) would be funny as hell.

I can hardly call that movement. Let's just hope we don't go all the way down now, 'cause I only bought in a couple of minutes before MtGox went down

Looks like getting goxed is officially still a thing.
MtGox Lag<SarahCoinBit> We have 24 hour support and there are people watching, the issue has been esculated and will hopefully be resolved as soon as possible [11:41] <Boxman90> SarahCoinBit are you migrating to MIDAS atm and is that causing the outage? Simple yes or no will suffice. [11:41] <+SarahCoinBit> Boxman90: No. I'm pretty sure it's just ddos [11:52] <+SarahCoinBit> kanch: We're running a bit slow at the moment, sorry. It's most likely ddos related from reddit http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1qdpjv/mt_gox_is_down/. Do you think they just use the convenient excuse of DDOS as a reason for their incompetence? no they prolly went short- ran out of coins>> and was trapped!~jmho

Yet people continue to use them. Gox won't change until people vote with their feet. That is the way a free market works which is bitcoins goal Considering all of gox's past problems I can not understand why anyone has funds there

People have been voting with their feet. I wonder how low their market share will have to get before they get it in gear.
