I understand that you might not have been as bullish as you should have been about bitcoin in earlier times

I sunk as much into corn as a poor witless lad could muster and then some, went without fancy meatballs for weeks that year. I'm sure we've been over this.

I don't want to repeat... but if you did what you say, then you should be "sitting pretty" about now.

Standing ugly. But at least I have my health.

I bought $3M worth of bitcoin recently and I am waiting for the next bull run. If what you want is for us to lose our investment by scaremongering then we cant be on this same thread.

Whoopee-doo. A measly 166 BTC is nothing.

Prove it. Sign a message from your UTXO. And prove you are hodling in SegWit addresses that start with a 3 instead of a 1.

When my friends tell me they bought BTC, I replied congratulations and I'm happy for you. I don't see merits proving it, especially to you.

What exactly is he shilling? This real Bitcoin he is talking about is simply a slightly altered version of Bitcoin Core 0.5.3. (They call their version 0.5.4) Those that are running that software as a node are still following the same chain as Bitcoin Core 16.0.1.

We really have been inundated by trolls as of late. More than I have ever seen yet. I haven't been around this thread long enough to know, is there a generally accepted correlation between troll activity and the market like there is in the Monero speculation thread?

It seems to me that troll activity picks up during big moves - either up or down.

27% of England’s Male Millennials Say Bitcoin Better Investment Than Property

Millennials Turning from Traditional Investments and Toward Crypto

let them  Grin

Link or it didn't happen.   Tongue

Roger Ver's scam site bitcoin .com picked it up from http://www.getlivinglondon.com/pdfs/get_living_millennial_living_in_2018_report_first_look.pdf  ( https://archive.is/g6WkX )

You'd know that if you'd used a search engine on micgoossens' first line.

METHODOLOGY
This research was conducted online with n=3,065 millennials (aged 21 to 35 years old), living across the United Kingdom from 28th March – 4th April 2018. Results were weighted on gender overall and gender within each region of the United Kingdom to ensure representativeness.

Thanks for the link and the further elaboration.  I think that links help when making assertions that seem to be based on polls.

In this video, Tom Lee talks a lot about how Cryptocurrencies are the preferred investment class of the millennial generation.
It's only 20 minutes or so - well worth watching IMO.

You missed the last bottom troll that was NotLambChop.

She was so bad they had to change the forum policies for new accounts because of her.

What did she do that was so bad and how did they change the rules in response?

*edit* Was NotLambChop crumbs? I see some people claiming he/she was. Man I fucking hate that guy. He had this way of "arguing" that would lead you on a wild goose chase forever. He would kind of address your point but subtly draw the conversation enough off track that the culmination of each deviation was this meandering never ending path through the swamp. Infuriating. Angry Or even if they aren't the same person. Doing a little research on NotLambChop forced me to remember that guy.

OK we have movement up, a bounce off major 0.75 line and broken through downtrend multi pivot line?  Pull back to this line and then up to P4?

The beauty of volatility. Some hate it, but others love it. I bought back the amount I sold one-third a piece. Thanks to volatility. Now we wait, the same amount of time I waited the first time. HODL. To the MOON!

In this video Tommy Lee is much more interesting and it is only 6 minutes long.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWRYqyRi1yI

he is the ONE talking head I really, really wish to be correct on his bullish vision of BTC. I mean he is farther out there than I am.

Would be nice to be wrong in THAT direction, rather than in my usual Unicorn Dreams other direction...and then the floor drops out..

(I'm such a groupie BTC tool!)

Congrats on the correct timing move if true.

She was some fat financial reporter for the legacy finance system (come to find out).

She would come on here with a new account and post pictures of unicorns and naked old men. Constantly. The admins had to play whack a mole with her accounts she was creating banning her over and over and over as she logged into this thread to do the same thing non-stop.

The rule was changed so that new accounts could not post pictures until reaching like 2 months of activity.

Yes... everyone do what troll anunymint suggests, and that way your coins will be safe.. panic, everyone.

I changed my mind.  0.5.1 is the one true Bitcoin.  All transactions and transfers after 0.5.1 are invalid.
