“The original wallet owned 111,114.62 $BTC / $ BCH, which is currently valued ~ $844M (without taking into account other #Bitcoin forks)” and “It seems that the owner of a huge #SilkRoad related wallet is moving funds actively since 3 days, dividing it in chunks of 100 coins by sub wallets.”

The Reddit also updated that these 60000 coins were moved in chucks and not all together. The owner of the wallet moved these coins in batches of  30,000 / 20,000 / 10,000 / 5,000 / 500 and now 100 coins.

Another point worth noting here is the wallet was last active on March 9th, 2014, which is some months after the sight was pulled down by FBI.

Money can't "buy" happiness.... but lack of it is surely a great obstacle in reaching or maintaining happiness.

My goal is to reach that point in which I can be reasonably sure I won't ever experience lack of money in my lifetime. No extravagances or overspending needed at all. Just that. So that I can live my life, more or less happy but without that worry.

imo, This is HUGE

It may be huge (to us who like fairness, honesty and transparency), but sadly it means the whale traders probably won't care to trade it then.

Huge or not, it all depends on how they manage transparency on the delicate re-hypothecation issue. That would entail devising some half-clever multisig protocol where, for example, the original owner's consent is needed for moving collateral outside of a predetermined set of addresses. Some of us (including me) are still skeptical on the sidelines, waiting for more details.

As far as I know, no. But supposed administrator of the darknet marketplace Silk Road Gary Davis, who is an Irish citizen, "agreed" to be extradited to the US where he faces life imprisonment. This is all very strange.

The dude really balances me out well, and is an extremely patient, and caring partner. He really puts up with an incredible amount of... punishment... from me, all things considered.

I can count on one hand, the times I've seen Rick go full Johnny Storm and "Flame On !" in anger, and, well, let's just say I'm glad that fury was not ever directed at me.

Generally, incredibly caring, friendly, and accommodating, but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DON'T EVER PISS OFF A GINGER CAUSING THEM TO ENTER A RAGE-STATE !

EDIT: One of those times, though, he raged out at one of the cattle back in Montana, and it was the fucking funniest thing ever, in retrospect.
