so the white...... has been deleted for a few days, and the green has arrived  to recover and cool down for a few days
i don't smoke myself for years.... very very sometimes on a birthday for lulz, but not often and especially cause my last birthday i was so sick of booze and just 5 hits of a joint .... man you cannot imagine how i was feeling @that time
but short said i'm no SMOKER myself but i don't disapprove guys for smoking cause i do understand the fun of it as well

If you're worried over smoking you can always switch to eating or drinking the stuff. No reason to swear it off for good if you enjoy it.

they blew was it 600mn on failed wafers after that, couldn't make a goddam sha asic no more.

They clearly have something big in the making and are just lowering the hashrate by not supplying enough good miners so that they can come in with a big boom and pop all the corn themselves. Mega bullish?

(protip - its really easy to up the daily withdraw limit to 100K or 250K (probably more but never tried) simply ask, and yee will be granted, there is an option to increase limits in the withdraw section)

Great. As long as it is easy. I have bad memories from the days of Polo and their $2K bollocks.

It is super easy, just hit the "increase limit" bit, it asks you to how much and asks you for your reason, I simply put "want to trade higher amounts"  and both times when I tried it it took only a day or two at most to get confirmation of raised limits, no fuss no fanfare.

no actually i think jihan did capture the large scale production part of the biz very well back in the day. prolly the new companies need time to ramp up production. depends on their abilities and connections. whether they mine a bit on them beforehand, well bitmain are being sued for that, but the new guys could just structure their biz differently.

In short: institutionals are shell-shocked and bewildered.
My take home message from this particular tweetstorm: small size institutional money will not participate from now on.

TL;DR she predicts that, similarly to how internet happened, blockchain will eat the world, but somehow traditional players (Fidelity, Paypal, etc) would be the winners and we would be the losers.
I disagree, obviously.

It's really frustrating because when the smoke clears on all the bullshit, shitcoin scams, and ICO scams, it's clear to anyone that gets involved with the crypto space that the entire industry/ecosystem hinges on Bitcoin^TM being successful. It begins and ends with Bitcoin^TM. All the other crap is just noise and nonsense. I think everyone realizes this by now.

If every company out there would just rally around Bitcoin^TM, create services and job opportunities exclusively for Bitcoin^TM, and integrate with it exclusively, there would be zero, I mean ZERO downside to that. Bitcoin would be fully supported, miners would get 100% behind it, R&D development would get behind it, investors would get 100% behind it, etc. End users would not be so confused on what to buy and why -- they would know exactly what to buy: Bitcoin^TM.

But no, everyone wants to recreate the wheel with their own one-off, co-opted and privatized blockchain and their own coin. Well good luck with that. All those efforts will fail massively and spectacularly.

It really is the public Internet vs. privatized Intranets battle all over again. Have we learned nothing from that?
