re Square Cash app, i was fascinated to hear a snippet from Jack Dorsey in https://stephanlivera.com/episode/52
iirc he said 'we have a huge network of buyers'
now either that's good businesstalk for 'we have very few buyers' or he's truthful, which I buy, and a huge network by his standards is pretty large. pretty pretty large

people use it i gather to dollar cost average in (?)

I see bitcoin breaking the 4100-4200 usd resistance level  before the close of this month.Unlike the previous pumps and dumps, there is significant growth in trade volume, consistently trading about 9 billion daily ( assuming exchanges are not "wash trading").

4.8K is the historic (Aug 2017) resistance level. I expect BTC to reach that level (at least on BFX) by mid-March.

To hear him talk about bitcoin on the Joe Rogan Experience, it sounds like he is really going all in on BTC and Twitter. It will be phenomenally cool if they actually add the LN tipping button right into Twitter. Of course that would require that all participants are already connected to the LN. It was a big headache six months ago, a small headache now, and hopefully not one at all six months from now.

Theymos probably won't do the same for the forum, being stuck between not wanting to rely on a 3rd party service and acknowledging that both parties need to be online when conducting a LN transaction... That's a shame though cuz I think it would encourage people to learn how to use Lightning.

LN is probably unsuitable for tips since the recipient has to be online. That's why these LN tipbots all hold your money, which I'm not a fan of. If you're using LN through a trusted third party, then you're better off not using it at all.

Jesse Lund, IBM VP of digital currencies and blockchain said during an interview on Finder.com that BTC has the potential to be valued at 1 Million.
he thinks it will reach 5k before the end of the year (hmmm only ?)
Quote
Further expounding on his $1 million price argument, Jesse went ahead to opine that such a high price would work to greatly increase Bitcoin’s liquidity given that a single Satoshi would then be worth 1 US penny. He estimated the total liquidity at that stage at around $20 trillion.

Agreed...
post history has all those 2 liners typical of a bot.
Though I have to admit they are a cut above the  "great project, awesome team!" garbage that used to pollute this place in the pre merit days.

https://www.irrawaddy.com/news/burma/mongla-official-denies-chinese-firm-permitted-set-autonomous-digital-economic-zone.html
The general secretary of the rebel-controlled Mongla Special Administrative Region on the Chinese border has denied any knowledge of a Chinese company’s plan to establish an independent political entity within its borders based on an “e-citizenship” system open to all with a digital economy supported by a cryptocurrency.

I'd like to find an alternative to coinbase considering their recent acquisition but the play store reviews on Cash app are pretty horrible.  Do any of you guys use it?
