I can name 3000 coins that literally came out of my ass that can do the same thing.

Lots of things seem to be coming out of your ass :

So whose alt are you ? And please don't say "your mom".

You realize BCH is now BSV and that post was before the date of the fork?

WO, very pessimistic today, because BTC goes down $100.

Bitcoiners do not cry. Wink

Cry? Why?

Investing in BTC was the best thing I did in my life financially.

Even at the current bear market, I have more than doubled my initial investment. Not to mention what will inevitably come...

I should be ecstatic!

They are breaking up, right?

So they want to break up and stay friends?

I thought that the break up was a bit more hostile.. I suppose it is still in development and all the details are not really known, either.

I don't know why, but this photo reminds me of a couple of small white hamsters I had as a child. Dirty little things...

Good post, gives me a smile on a shitty day that I’m having.

Even at current prices I am at over 10 x what I’ve invested. It was a fuck load more at the ATH obviously but that doesn’t matter. Like you said we all know what will inevitably come.

Edit - Also just to add, this place isn’t the same without micG. We miss you brother Smiley

No you can't.

There is only one bitcoin, and when push comes to shove (for example if they were under government attack or traditional banking attack), all 3,000 of those supposed coins that you cannot even list would not have liquidity or network (node) effects to accomplish such with impunity like bitcoin can.

So, fuck off with your vague assertion that there is some other coin that competes with bitcoin, because amongst other things, lightning network is an alt coin killer.   Tongue Tongue Tongue Cheesy Cheesy

Venezuela Launches Government Service for Sending Bitcoin and Litecoin to Its Citizens

Last week, the government of Venezuela launched a new cryptocurrency remittance service called Patria that allows people from anywhere in the world to send Bitcoin (BTC) and Litecoin (LTC) to the residents of that country.

To use Patria, the sender must specify an email address. The system will send to this email address a one-time access code. Once the sender has logged into Patria, he will be asked to give his name, date of birth, and country of residence.

https://www.cryptoglobe.com/latest/2019/03/venezuela-launches-government-service-for-sending-bitcoin-and-litecoin-to-its-citizens/

I'm sure that Venezuelan citizens are going to be breaking down doors to use that service.

#bitcoin chart update: 14 months to halving. Note that 2011 bottom was at 12 months, and 2015 bottom at 10 months before halving .. 🚀

https://twitter.com/100trillionUSD/status/1102122695683133440

I don’t like the look of those stats, hopefully the bottom is already in. I don’t really want to go sub $3,000.

I dont really understand what you dont like. Our green is loosing yellowness and gaining blueness. What is there not to like?  As long as yellow months are behind us I am super happy. What I do know is that I will have to get ready, for the next yellow period that will come 4 years from now, much better.

It's not the most pleasant picture in the morning. Bears dominate the bulls again in the market.

One very interesting part of that is to allow users to "pay in store using Bakkt's app".  That bodes VERY VERY well for possible bitcoin adoption.  Purists will HATE it though as we are talking about a trusted 3rd party, of course.  But I will be buying coffee there with Bitcoin if they launch well.

It would be very bullish if Starbucks keep the crypto and its not auto traded to fiat.

Its a publicity stunt.. a good one.

ICE and Starbucks are not going to risk as much as they are risking on this as a publicity stunt.
