Sig ad files above the sig? I hope this ain't the future... Sort of bad form, old chap? Nothing personal, just I love it that sig ads are not visible in here. i put him on ignore for that. i have sigs disabled forum wide anyway so if someone pulls crap like this ignore is the only option. i hate sigs.. EDIT: seems Gyrsur stopped. unignored now. enjoy my avatar, fuckers. No but seriously, who puts their sig in the post? Do you really need the extra few pennies that badly? Can't imagine you get paid more than chump change in BTC/ETH nowadays, even as Legendary

This is a fresh example that trolls like r0ach are not right that virtual currencies have no application in real life. Anyway, I wonder how long it will take for each country to allow direct purchases of property with Bitcoins. I think that if Bitcoin is not officially banned in a country, than there should not be legal obstacles. Thus it remains only that the merchants give such an opportunity for the potential buyers. This raises the additional question of whether such purchases will be tax free. It is a complicated issue, but at least in my small country, if I buy directly with bitcoins some asset (for now I don't have info for such property deals), then I don't have to pay a tax. The only thing is that I should be able to prove that I am not a trader but investor in Bitcoin and the asset is for my personal needs, not for trade. (Just like with fiat currencies, which have greater value in time.) This principle of equality between fiat and Bitcoin should be in each country, I think. This is important, since everyone now pays various taxes for transferring fiat into bank accounts. In near future, everyone should be able to buy property and cars directly with Bitcoins, thus saving taxes. So the Bitcoin whales won't need to sell thousands of Bitcoins and paying millions of $'s tax. The impact on the market in the coming years may be huge.

Basically if you're posting daily on BTT you might as well get paid for it by advertising something. enjoy my avatar, fuckers. i had avatars disabled too as i hated the animated ones. i like static pages, moving stuff is distracting. but now i just have animated gifs set to not play in firefox and leave the avatars on so they display as static images only.. mainly so i dont miss the hats You know I am working on modifying my hat so its a bit animated.... Better enable avatars when I am done!

Sorry to break it to you but : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5114171.0OK, APNGs are now detected. Old ones are grandfathered for now, in part because people have ongoing campaigns, but in the future I might (or might not) go through and remove them.
As for the animated avis, I know they're annoying but that's what they want us to wear for my campaign... and I gotta admit I need/want the free BTC.

I have never wore a sig.... But I understand people that do... more so if they are actual useful contributors and not just sig spammers. I might even consider it in the future if needed the money or whatever.
That being said, this thread is sig free. Win-Win.

Unusual, baers being led by hodlers. That demonstrates that Bitcoin is not digital cash for the masses but hodling capital for the Swiss-bank account elite.

Why Starbucks Supporting Bitcoin Spending is Big Newshttps://crypterium.com/news/open/starbucks-supporting-bitcoin-news"assuming one percent of the 13.5 million clients convert their BTC to fiat and buy coffee, that will translate to $250 million of added market cap per year and that means a stable and less volatile crypto market. The good news is that there are chances that the American Retailer will add in some incentive encouraging crypto expenditure. In case of that boost acceptance and one in every ten customers buy coffee with Bitcoin, that will translate to $2.5 billion of added liquidity and well, it could snowball especially if conversion rates are favorable. Additional traction can be drawn from the already successful—but in Beta Lightning Network which offer instant transactions—exactly what Starbuck wants, low fees—needed by the customer– and a scalable system which is perfect for Bitcoin."

People already load pre pay cards to save a few quit at a business. If you could genuinely get down the cost advantage, including fees and conversions etc., then it could fly easier.
