Bleh, I have seen my Bitcoins lose $16000 *each* from ATH. The remaining $4000 per BTC are not gonna make me lose sleep.

Win or bust for me. In a few years I will reevaluate my position.

Absolutely. You are the sort of hodler that predominates when the bottom is reached.

A drop to $2k now does not invalidate the whole premise of long term adoption.

In fact a drop of $1000 soon might at least finally turn sentiment. There are still a lot of weak hands that need to be removed.

I'm buying Smiley

I did it during the first drop from 6.3 k to 3.8k, and I'm doing it again now at the same price, but in a bull market this time.
I feel that these are the cheapest coins we will see for quite a lot of time, and maybe forever.

Looking forward to ... return of the troubles
Hey, you can grandstand on brexit as much as you like, but to wish this on anyone without moderation is fucking monstrous.

Then maybe the Brits should sit up and pay attention that they are getting a hard border and will get the troubles back in 26 days unless they get off their ass and actually do something

Me either, that is going to be another test for us, we have survive this far, I don't know if we can still do the same with $3,000 below.

May 2020 is only just over a year. You will manage. ...I would think the probability that we have seen the bottom is 50/50.  Another low around $2k is not the end of the world.

The hardest part is the waiting now.

You know what Brexit is?  It’s Mark Zuckerbergs revenge on the EU for GDPR (EU privacy laws).   And the right wing has fallen for it, hook, line and sinker.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6765903/Facebook-targeted-George-Osborne-campaign-against-new-data-privacy-laws.html

The EU was our change at getting decent consumer protections and strong privacy laws and taxing corporates like IKEA that make billions but haven’t paid a pound in tax since 1976.  But no we have to listen to Tommy Robinson and burn all that because fuck Polish plumbers.

Such a clusterfuck driven by racism.  I hate racism because it is a tool used by the 0.1% to control the people.

You're so silly. Brexit is about leaving a bureaucratic clusterfuck that wastes money and adds zero value. Politicians are against it because they are looking forward to some sweet overpayed EU jobs when they retire from national politics. Has zero to do with racism that's the politicians manipulating you (same holds true for it's bad for the economy. Brother please, come back 10 years after Brexit and we'll talk).

Oh and GDPR is fucking terrible for everyone (people and businesses alike) but the EU bureaucrats.

I have to deal with GDPR all the time. It’s not that bad if you tell people why you are collecting the information and the reasons you need to collect it.

It’s fucking terrible if you want to completely invade peoples privacy, spy on them and own their location data in real time.

No this is personal. Don't shift the focus of the discussion. You as an individual glibly hope for others to perpetrate torture, murder and bombings.

I’m not actually.  I am just despairing that the UK is sleepwalking into a hard Brexit and no one is awake at wheel or gives a shit.

The Lightning Torch has crossed the border to Iran

According to the project’s monitoring website, it was UK-based Bitgeiniog who facilitated the move after receiving the payment from Bitcoin industry media resource Bitcoin Magazine. Ziya has since transferred it to another Iranian.

“[L]et’s keep the Censorship Resistance trend going,” he wrote, suggesting that developers of web browser Tor should be next in line to get involved.

i doubt we break and close below 2800...if it does it will only be a flash crash to squeeze the last of the pussies out once and for all.

no shame at all. tarry a while, mix urself a white russian, price talk is not entirely frowned upon.
uk might rally short term, but it's got to be a target for attacks on the pound. look at all the sterling work our socialist neanderthal cousins are already putting in.
all countries are fucked though, uk just hastened the process.

I don't know much about the brexit but... shouldn't it be bullish for BTC as some UK citizens decide to hedge part of their savings in crypto "just in case"?
