I am only 4.5BTC away from 10btc. It'll take a while if bitcoin keeps rising like this. 5 was my first target and I accomplished it a few weeks ago. 10 is next. 21 is after that. I'll probably cash out to lambo (by lambo i mean whatever i like) before I reach 21 but who knows.

Tone Vays says sub $3k, even sub 2k is still possible. I might get 4-5 coins instantly if that happens.
What's the deal with 21? Confirminati illumed?

Max supply for Bitcoin is 21 million.

If you own 21 coins, you'll be granted access to the 1 million club.

1 milion club has many benefits like free cigars and drinks, free access to reputable night clubs in major cities etc... I believe it is a bit too late to get the 1million club membership but I'll try anyway.

I'm overall bearish on bitcoin until this trend breaks out:

You can't copy the brain.
A brain is something made out of matter.  Are you saying it is theoretically impossible (nevermind for now how difficult it would be in practice) to create a duplicate of a piece of matter that consists of the same kind of atoms in the same state?

I believe we're definitely goin' to see those artificially made-up brains in future:

Can We Copy the Brain?

https://towardsdatascience.com/can-we-copy-the-brain-9ddbff5e0dde

3d printing going to play a big role in this as well.

3d printed brain-tissue-cells then sub conscience transfer with the AI or whatever brainy guys call it.

Shit load amount of Rats going to die in this process.

https://www.3ders.org/articles/20190403-3d-printed-transparent-skull-lets-scientists-see-how-the-brain-works.html

Rats going to die? Will their circulation decrease? Should we sell bitcoin and starting hodling rats because they'll be rare in the future? Should we?!? Sir?

After years of playing Star Wars Commander on my phone, today I reached a remarkable medal count - 100K! I believe I will see Bitcoin parity and I demand it soon(ish)  Wink! Somehow, this game was the first brink of the logical chain, which allowed me to understand about Bitcoin, so for me it is a sign! (I went through the options to get free crystals in this game by installing apps, then PTC sites, and gradually I learned about mining and buying Bitcoins on exchanges.)

I have zero faith in cryopreservation.

I have zero faith in "uploading consciousness".

So, if you upload your consciousness...  is it really 'you' at that point? Or is it just an exact copy of you, and you are actually dead ?   I've actually been pondering this recently, and I can't get past the continuity of consciousness during the upload process, to believe the end result would still be me.
Yeah, that's one of the big questions right?

I guess part of the problem is that we (or at least I) don't have a clear view of what makes up a person/individual.  I mean, we know about brains being made out of neurons, glial cells etc., but have much more issues seeing how that translates to more abstract higher-order concepts such as consciousness, character etc. .

This is actually one of my favorite conversations to have. I decided to study neuroscience from a young age because I was caught up in the idea of creating a computer program that could "upload your brain before you die," thereby allowing you to live forever. I was on an "extropians" e-mail list that was started coincidentally by Wei Dai (pre-bitcoin e-money guy) and wanted to learn all I could about longevity.

After my first neuroscience course during my junior year (you have 2 full years of prep before you're even allowed to touch neuroscience), I realized that this is an impossible feat, at least for centuries to come. The human brain is the most complex structure in the known universe. Our best computers can't even begin to touch what it is capable of performing.

After finishing my degree and going to grad school for neuroscience, I came to the conclusion that you're better off just keeping your brain alive inside a jar, placed in a cyborg body. Kind of like Robocop. Of course, entropy will always win, but we're much closer to being able to make this happen than replicating the brain digitally.

One thing that always pissed me off about Star Trek and the idea of "beaming"... Once you get beamed somewhere, you're dead! The old you is just disintegrated and the new you is just an exact replica of you. So yeah, who gives a shit if you can only make a replica of yourself. You're better off just having children, which are one half you, and then call it a day.

@ Bob - Glad to see you’re taking health seriously. We can’t lose our favourite fabulous, gay, WO bitcoin’er.

I haven’t touched any drugs for a month now. I had two beers at the football last night but that was my first drink for a while.

I’ve started drinking water a lot, not even drinking Coke or Pepsi. I feel a lot better because of it. It makes my thinking clearer & I feel happier, more positive about life. It’s strange but good.

Stay safe any way brother xx

I have no desire to intake alcohol any time soon. The longer I stay dry, the better. If Rick has a bad day at the office and wants to go out for a drink, maybe I'll nurse one single beer so he's not drinking alone, but we'll see how that plays out. Also, spiking my triglyceride levels over the bad cholesterol limit was the final nail in the coffin to incentivize me to dry out and try to undo some damage.

I haven't consumed a drop of alcohol for five or more years and doubt I'll bother again. It wasn't for health reasons, I just got bored and disgusted by the behaviour of drunk people. Far too many people are fucking pitiful when on it.

They have their fun getting drunk. I have my fun sneering at them and when they pass out I fart in their mouth and slap them until their cheeks rupture. Everyone wins.

But wtf man, what about dinner and just 2-3 wines for the taste, that ain’t making people acting weird and sh*t.
If thats your main raeson to never drink thats pity if its health and so on ok, but see the difference between just tipsy or Maybe even not ..... And a wasted F*** acting wrong!

Sometimes a drink has to be appreciated IMO, i’m not often very drunk and when i am i’m luckely OK “i think”

IIRC running a small current through a hull will attract calcium deposits.

I don't have time right now to find the info but hopefully my memory has this correct. Wink

I also think all alcoholic drinks taste varying degrees of horrible. I'd rather have some orange juice or something. The only reason to consume it is to get drunk and I don't want to do that any more.

I remember as a kid all the adults eulogising the taste of their wine. When I finally tasted some I was expecting a unicorn to dance on my tongue, what I got was a wino emptying his piss bag on it.

But hey, we're all different.

My only job is to drive my drunk buddies home every fucking time or take care of them.

I didn't put a single drop of alcohol in my body for 28 years and never smoked anything in my life. Now started drinking Rum occasionally but only in winters for the last 2 years.  only 6 times so far

I don't think 1-2 beers a week can hurt your health as long as it is not going to trigger a heavy drinking session.

That was my experience with smoking so I quit it 7 months ago for good this time. I had long breaks like 1 or 2 years before but this time It doesn't even come to my mind. During those long breaks, I cheated myself by smoking only 1 cig but then I started to smoke 1 cig/day. Long story short, this time it is different. Not going back.

I can't stop drinking beer though. I don't want to and I won't. It is because I already don't drink more than 5-10 bottles in a month which is enough to relax myself in a relatively safe way.

Drinking beer just makes me realize I am alive and a human being for fucks sake. I need to make myself remember this every once in a while.  Grin
