Today, we’re pleased to update you on the launch of bitcoin futures contracts developed by Bakkt in collaboration with ICE Futures U.S. and ICE Clear US. We’ve worked closely with the CFTC to develop contracts that both meet our customers’ needs for trading, transparency, and market certainty, and are also compliant with Federal regulations.

Buenos dias Bitcoinland.

After yesterday's lovely correction it's nice to see we're back on track... currently $7742USD/$10410CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Slow and steady wins the race.

Go Bitcoin go.

Microsoft Launches Decentralized Identity Tool on Bitcoin Blockchain

Quote
Meanwhile, an anonymous source with knowledge of Microsoft’s project told CoinDesk that Ion will shift from using bitcoin’s testnet to the bitcoin mainnet later this year. As such, any tech-savvy observer could run a node and contribute to this project.

Said W3C’s Allen:

“To have Microsoft say they are not scared of bitcoin, and in fact, it has some very good properties and we are willing to take advantage of those properties, is, I think, a step in the right direction.”

ION

Quote
ION is a public, permissionless, Decentralized Identifier (DID) network that implements the blockchain-agnostic Sidetree protocol on top of Bitcoin (as a 'Layer 2' overlay) to support DIDs/DPKI at scale.

https://github.com/decentralized-identity/ion

Putting the centralization back in decentralization, M$ really gets it. Smiley
I'm more than happy to have companies build their layer 2 on Bitcoin instead or altcoins. It doesn't bother me.

Yep, its all about the money.

apparently satoshi is Paul le Roux - some SAR thug
-bitcoin. com
http://boards.4channel.org/biz/thread/13616424/paul-solotshi-calder-le-roux-the-real-satoshi

"Craig Wright was an employee of Le Roux, who was vaguely aware of the bitcoin project. Craig was an informant who helped bring down Le Roux, and after his arrest, Craig managed (via long time friend and partner in crime, Dave Kleiman) to get his hands on the wallets that hold a million bitcoins, but unfortunately for Craig, all of Solotshi's coins are locked away in secure TrueCrypt volumes (TrueCrypt being another software that Le Roux developed). He has been trying for years to crack them but with no success.

Another of Craig's long time friends, Calvin Ayre, has set up warehouses of computers to try to crack Solotshi's password and unlock the vast fortunes; his mining activity is simply a front to make these massive datacenters look legitimate. Craig is being set up as 'the real satoshi' so that when the coins are finally unlocked, they can legitimately sell them off."

Was someone able to break TrueCrypt? It was discontinued in 2014 but it is used to this day. It is said that not even the NSA can decrypt it.

I don't believe it for a second but it would sure rock some peoples world if this shitbag was indeed the man.

That was nice to see I expected it to correct down to 6420, I guess I missed that number totally!

And happily so. Cheesy

I still use it. Daily. IMHO, it's the best encryption s/w available. Free and open-source. I don't believe there is a way to decrypt it, other than brute-forcing it (which means having to wait for millennia -- if the passphrase is strong enough).

Good luck to Craig Wright and his pedo friend Calvin Ayre...

I still believe that Satoshi was Dave Kleiman. He died in 2013, thats why he disappeared.

This thread in 4chan is probably a drill for the "gotsatoshi" website, which I believe is a psy-op to create massive FUD. They will probably put a terrorist or a criminal as the "true" Satoshi, so that governments have a casus belli against bitcoin and outlaw it.
