Man, I just cannot get into the hard wallets.. a. the best and brightest individuals design these devices b. man is flawed and ALWAYS looking to benefit for himself. we are not "hive" minded by default. a + b = untrustable deliverables. I just do not think there is any way you can be 100% assured that the device will not send your private information on to another device or the "network" at its earliest opportunity. I have just seen too many con jobs from too many "trusted" and "honest" folk. Note: I have seen easter eggs make it into software that was peer reviewed and verified. You would have to work hard to convince me to put my savings on an electronic device. I know.. I purchase crypto with the internet and PC wallets... but I get my stuff to paper the first chance I get. I find the challenges of keeping paper from flood and fire much less stressful than the alternatives. |
