Good morning, WO, it's this shit, I'm going a few hours and there are 1000 dollars less .... I'm with the phone, can anyone confirm if this drop coincides with the crap of future CME?

Well, MAY contract is going to expire today.

https://www.cmegroup.com/trading/equity-index/us-index/bitcoin_product_calendar_futures.html

Here the rule:

@realr0ach
Why are you always after ruining the fun we have here?  We are bitcoiners and we will cheer for it even if the value goes back to 0.

I am here to cheer along with you as it goes to 0.
Of course you will.

You will cheer because you will be happy to see the fall
and
I will cheer to support the bitcoin that this is not the end. We will bounce back like we did every time.

So, the motivation is not going to be the same.

I will cheer to support the bitcoin

Why do you pretend Bitcoin is some type of sacred cow?  Bitcoin has had zero reason to exist at all since the day the first ASIC was created.  All the bugmen from Marcus to Lauda know it.  You're not supposed to be required to go to an exchange to acquire coins, you're supposed to be able to mine them yourself.  Everyone mining them themselves is where the decentralization was supposed to originate from.  So now you have zero decentralization and it's a complete failed project.

Now, instead of rightfully taking Bitcoin behind the shed and shooting it in the face with a shotgun to put it out of it's misery, the bugmen attempted to turn it into nothing more than a pump and dump scam and try to keep it alive for personal gain (propped up by lots of lying and shilling of course). Many bugman from developer to user make believed that ASIC comodification was somehow inevitable, yet were proven completely wrong on that front.  There's zero reason for ASIC commodification to occur at all.

if i were satoshi (ALL BOW BEFORE THE MIGHTY VAPOURMINER... err i mean SATOSHI) i would dump the alts and donate them to charities/research/foundations. many of the real bitcoin stash too. i mean satoshi really needs more than a million coins to be happy? jeez and i thought I was being greedy with my pitiful aspirations..

Alternate possible scenario: Satoshi foresaw the possibility of idiots perverting his system, and maintained a large reserve of coin capable of righting the wrong.

#justsayin

But Satoshi said bitcoin was the one true needed coin. Wont he fix this one then?

Cant see him joining team B

https://images.theconversation.com/files/113064/original/image-20160226-26716-v7lcpw.jpg?ixlib=rb-1.1.0&q=45&auto=format&w=926&fit=clip

Unless you are adamant he is Satoshi?

I am not adamant that Craig is Satoshi. I am adamant that Satoshi is Satoshi. But who Satoshi is, is irrelevant from the standpoint of what a Satoshi might plausibly due to 'rescue' his design. Which of course bears directly upon the hypothetical to which I am responding.

Why would he 'fix' the fork that abandoned his principles (i.e., BCH), when there is a fork that carries his principles forward into the current in its current instantiation (i.e., SV)? The notion seems absurd to me.

But the only link to SV is CSW so if its not him that is no link at all.

Want he quit his own project and join someone else's that's like an earlier version of his? lots of ifs

I think you're out in the weeds, but I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to convey. The only link from what to SV?

PS. Jbreher I don't believe you, I think you're being fearful of coming out of the closet about Craig because it would invalidate your arguments but they are already invalidated because all you do is appeal to authority to "Satoshi", Bitcoin regardless of what it is, is not one man's choice. Bitcoin is ours and has proven that so far.

My arguments are most strongly about the folly of intentionally crippling tx capacity. Appeal to authority has nothing to do with it.

I might be wrong here, as I don’t know exactly how TradingView works, but you might actually looking at JUN contract volumes that are picking up because now JUN is going to be front month, so activity is picking up on that particular contract ( that was illiquid when front month was APR or MAY etc.)

Let's face it: any man who is not blinded by racism (or is gay) can see that she's hot.

Even in an unflattering pose, still hot.

AOC is an annoying cunt, but an island full of Puerto Rican chicks sounds like a nice smash fest to me.

Serious question Roach. Are you attracted sexually to women? The only person you seem to openly admire is Hitler, who is a dude. Any Aryan hotties you wanna smash? Not an accusation, just a few real questions.

Ive noticed Bitcoin getting more and more correlated with the global and US stock market since the 2017 run up. I posted some interesting charts and thoughts from a long reddit post somebody put up not long ago showing the correlation with emerging market stocks in particular.

Point is every time US stock get to or near an all time high, Trump decides to use the opportunity to escalate his trade war(s). He killed the stock run recently by escalating tariffs against China and China walked away from making a deal. Today he announced a 5 percent tariff(will go as high as 25% in time if they dont give him what he wants) on all Mexican imports until they stop the invasion of illegal immigrants through the border and futures are getting hit pretty hard.

A big stock correction I think would really seal the deal on our parabolic run being over and taking us back to 4800-5500 range. This would still be hella bullish in my eyes as that is a much higher low than 3100.

Trump imo helped really jump start this latest Bitcoin run with his jawboning the Fed into stopping rate hikes and ending Quantitative Tightening. This also got the Stock market roaring to new highs.

So what im seeing is Trump giveth and Trump taketh away and right now he is in taketh mode.

Also of note:

Im too lazy rn to post HM's fractal charts but Im sure you all remember the 2 pumps past 300 in spring and summer of 2015. What if we are going through the same kind of thing, but this time instead of 2 spaced out pumps its just one bigger pump right smack in the middle. In that case we would go back and revisit the 3000's one last time before the march to 100k starts for real for real later this year.

I think 4800-5500 would be more likely but just food for thought. Would like to be wrong and hit 100k next month but you guys gotta pamp it a lot harder for that to happen. Cheesy

Since 2017, I've been following these famous filbfilb charts;
https://www.tradingview.com/chart/BLX/W5wwj74c-Bitcoin-Long-Term-Trend-Analysis-A-near-term-clue-BLX-Update/
https://www.tradingview.com/chart/BLX/LGfs4PUa-Bitcoin-A-Long-Tern-Market-Analysis/

I don't remember where I got that one from, but this might be the better version of filbfilb's TA:

So is the suggestion it levels out or turns down over time? (with this fib? analysis)
