These days, Snopes.com has become the be-all, end-all arbiter of truth. I don’t know how this happened. The site is wrong about a great many things, for some reason people still cite Snopes to me as “proof” that I am wrong about one thing or another, as if they were a know-all god that can not tell a lie. Well, when it comes to 9/11, Snopes.com is a false and very outdated god.

Key life lesson: Objective reality trumps Subjective reality.

^You cited infowars as a reliable source? Gay frogs man?  I can’t tell if you are joking or serious but it’s pretty funny either way.

Hairy, I am so glad you mentioned gay frogs.

Have a look at this 3 minute video:

you will be even further entertained, and maybe educated on this matter at the same time.

This is still very slow.

I am very tired of my wage job, and McAfee promised me to be retired before the end of 2020, and I believed him. But we are still 88% off track for btc to reach 1m until that date  Embarrassed

I don't understand how I am bearish with all the charts I've shared.

There isn't a single bearish chart I shared in the last 6 months at least.

All I said was "If it drops below that level I am a buyer but I think and want it to go up." Corrections will happen just like it happened before. They may be big or small but they do happen and every once in a while they create a good buying opportunity especially in bull markets. Like it or not, they do happen.

I couldn't believe it when serveria called me a bear and now there are 3 of you guys.

I think you need to read my posts more carefully. I don't know how many times I repeated that we are in a bull market I am not going to quote those posts because at this point I am starting to think that I am being trolled.

P.S. Leave lambie alone.

Hey man you are a bear.

Now there are four.

I am a bear too, except when I am not.

Also checking dickline from time to time and it is frustrating to watch that shit.

Not on a wage job, running my own business but it is still boring and tiring af.

It doesn't really matter much whether you are a wage slave or a business owner, both have to go to work in the end.

Getting retired before 2021 feels like a dream, I wish we all get it. Gotta buy more corns.

For example, it seems that if I had some meaningful inclinations that the BTC price was going to go down before it goes up, I could describe my feelings, and it seems that I already have.

Several weeks ago, I said that I would not be surprised if BTC corrected below $7k, especially after we had peaked at $13,880 in such a short period of time.  I cannot recall anyone with any serious credibility around here questioning my BTC bullishness, and I also felt NO need to assert my long term bullish qualifications.

That's the thing Jiggy, when someone makes a bullish post - there are no disputes or confrontations - ever.
On the other hand if a member (non-legendary usually) makes a bearish remark, he can find himself been accused of lying, manipulating or trying to influence newbies, & even as far as trying to discredit other members that might have the same opinion. That's what serveria did, and that's why I felt that I had to explain myself. Also that's why he is a liar in my book.

In any other case, of course there is no need to explain anything regarding an opinion/position.

Pfff... since when expressing your point of view = lying? Could you please post a quote of me lying here? Just to make sure you're not making things up ok?

Why should bulls "make bearish remarks" and what could be the reason of doing so?  Cool

Don't want to jinx it, but it would seem that our resident cock-r0ach has gone AWOL.
He could be on holidays of course, but .... where? The 1930's? Tongue

Sort of having a Stockholm syndrome experience here I suppose - him loosing the troll awards & all, but I could easily get used to his absence & the lack of that constantly repeating full of hatred, shilling propaganda.

Expressing your view point does not equal to accusing others, & trying - willingly - to distort things.
Check your post history for further details.

Good question. What's the time frame?

Heh, I remember JayJuanGee denounces me as a bear once, even tho my posts were actually bullish.

To say BTC will only go up would be ironic because it would be calling for the end to BTC, as this scenario surely leads to collapse.   It has to pull back and its positive for the market to do that.    The parabolic formation fits alongside the commentary of those who would call Bitcoin a ponzi, corrupt or fake scheme.    Debating back and forth = actually positive and ditto the market that buys and sells and regularly circulates currency.

There's a 50/50 chance r0ach is Jamie Dimon

I think Jamie is more positive on BTC.    Bankers respect results even if they hate the underlying product they'll go with it anyway in some shape or form.   Plenty of banks ready to back pop or rap music production studios even if the old men on the board hate the product, they respect the market potential I reckon.

Interesting article...
Quote
While cryptocurrencies may not have replaced the dollar, they have three important positive areas of impact on the existing monetary system, the authors note.

First, citizens secure welfare gains from the existence of cryptocurrencies because they offer diversification; moreover, private digital currencies serve as competition for local investment and thus restrain monetary policy, thereby generating lower inflation.

Second, the authors argue that cryptocurrencies encourage local investment and serve as a complement — not as a substitute — for that investment. In offering an alternative to local fiat, they discipline monetary policy — again reducing inflation — leading to higher returns from investment and thus more investment overall.

Third, the government itself gains from permitting the use of cryptocurrencies within the local economy, given that it extracts revenue through taxation and thus benefits from the higher levels of local investment.
