Do you think there will be a strong price correction before or after halvening?  I'm not asking you for financial advice, I just want to know what you expect more.

Not expecting us to drop below $6k USD/BTC before the halvening, but anything can happen. I do expect the price to be back above $10k before the halvening, but don't have a good "gut feel" for where we will be six months out, post-halvening. Too many variables are unknowable right now.

If I was to pull a number out my ass right now, I would guess around $20k USD/BTC, six months out, post-halvening. Trying to set my targets intentionally low so as not to completely bum myself out sorta thing.
Yes, as practice shows, the lower the expectations, the more pleasant it is to look at the chart!  Cheesy

The new price is a little painful but not completely unexpected.  Fell back asleep just after 7.4k and had a dream that it shot to 9.3 before I could get my buy order in.
So relieved to wake up from that nightmare.

By the way, WTF is GBTC from greyscale?

I used to be a permabull and I still am, but I need some fellow holder to reassure me.

I didn't struggle too much when btc was 3k-ish, because i was only waiting for the final capitulation, which i tought finally happened when we jumped to 14k and then, after correction, we were going sideways10k-ish.

From here, I thought, it can only go up.

But now we are experiencing a significant further correction, and today's red dildo is really tought for me, not financially but emotionally.

Worst than all, during the last year or so I saw too little development: lighting network is cool and I even used it with my android, but there are almost no merchants. And we still dosen't have an open market or a p2p exchanger. And I am really afraid that if we dosen't manage to get a working ecosystem BEFORE regulation, regulation will kill most of the coming projects.

Today I need someone to hodl my hand and say that everything is still ok.

Most of the "coming projects" are shit we would rather have sorted out and thrown away, like a human finger in a chocolate factory. Regulations will help with that, I believe.

Roach was right. Bitcoin was nothing but a major global scam. Soon $1. I was a fool to invest %20 of my net worth in bitcoin. Sad

say that everything is still ok.

No one ever said that the road to the new ATH would be a piece of cake. We're just experiencing growing pains, and probably some fuckery (the expiring futures are as good a reason as any). Heavy regulation can't come down too hard if some of the powers that be are deep in it. And some are.

Everything is still OK.

A V-shaped bottom spotted on short timescales (minutes). It could mean anything, including a quick recovery.

For those in need :

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

I do feel you.
But we are 203 ahead of halving.

You don't want to be caught short.
Not now.

I struggle emotionally, too, but then I look at the robustness of the SF model and I start dreaming again!

Still, 1BTC=1BTC
