Why'd you go for the roast beef version? I thought we agreed on the "succudry" for October?

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

If only that guy put some on cold storage and forgot about it. Losing 800 even back in 2010, he should have gotten it back or bought back even.

Oh, I'm back in DT. Awesome.. I didn't even realize I was kicked out.

Welcome dabs for back DT  ...

The current price of electricity in South Australia is negative $850 per megawatt hour.

This means for every kilowatt hour of electricity you consume, the power companies will pay you 85 cents at the spot price because they are so desperate to unload electricity from the grid.

Coal and nuclear power plants will never survive in these new market conditions because they cannot ramp up and down.   Coal plants take days to ramp down, and as we learned from the Chernobyl series, nuclear plants get xenon poisoning and other bad things if they are run too low.

Funny story...
Back in 2015 I put my  S4 antminer on ebay because the cost of electricity was more than the bitcoin I was mining.
Some dude in Australia bought it and my paypal account was credited.
Only problem was I had to pay shipping, as me being new to ebay selling, I did not realize you have to specify in the ad shipping not included.
Turns out after paying for shipping to Australia ,not only did that eat my selling price,
I had to shell out another $50. IOW, I'm paying some dude in Australia $50 to take my s4 bitcoin miner... Um...are you shitting me?
So of course I refunded him the money thru paypal and emailed him, apologizing that I was cancelling the sale.
He got totally irate and claimed I was a scammer, when in reality I was just an ebay noob, ignorant of the fact of knowing not to sell a miner without specifying shipping not included.
I googled and found out that if you are selling a miner, make sure you specify shipping not included otherwise australian buyers will jump on your ignorance and
call you a scammer in feedback when you cancel sale!  Needless to say, I dont sell on ebay any more.

The charts may look like shit right now. But if we can hold above $8060 to the close of the week, it will be our first green weekly candle after 3 red candles.

yes, chart looks bad and the whole 'premature fractal' looks even worse.
In fact, we started 2016-2017 bull run about 9 mo before halving.
Therefore, we are not ahead, but late by two months if you don't consider the move to 13.8K as a true "run".
The best we can count on here is slowly sloping upwards, hopefully exceeding the 200da MA.
If not, we will undergo a 'death cross' in one or two months.

My current thinking is that it is looking very bearish when it "should" have been progressively bullish (in this time zone vs halving)

According to the 2015 fractal, we could run sideways from here to May 2020.  It would be a bit boring but I wouldn’t consider it disastrous.

A flat would be fine, but a quick downdraw to 5900 looks equally possible (numbers are taken from the chart, i am not predicting it).
BTW, from a historic perspective, 2015 (year before halving) had just 34% appreciation.
We started 2019 with about $3961, 34% on the top of this is roughly $5450.
Why I am comparing 2015-2016 with 2019-2020?
Because of the similar position vs halving (2016-July, 2020-end of May, provisionally).

I guess the term would be "head butt." That guy's got a titanium cranium. Looks like he's practiced that move a few times in the past.
