Sorry to hear that Bob. I have a good friend who was diagnosed yesterday. Terminal.  Valar morghulis

Sorry HM, really terrible. I hate cancer Sad

Yeah TBH it’s his wife I feel for the most

My moms on Hospice, she has stage 4 COPD and Emphazema, I have a 9 year old daughter. I hate it for her the most. She has no life. We cannot ever just take a trip somewhere as she requires 24 hour care.. I agree I hate it for the wife. It is hard on the family that and bills begin to pile up. It gets really stressful.

My definition of a vacation is camping or renting a cabin 20 min away from my house. I have to stay close enough in case of an emergency (She falls or something) i can go get her up. I have not been to see my dad 2000 miles away in almost 4 years. I have noone to help me. But I promised I would never put her in a home. So now my daughter and I have to suffer because of it.  I wish him  and his family the best of luck!

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I made a joke in Dutch.  I am excessively proud of this accomplishment.

<preface: 6 beers before noon>

If I haven't low-key doxed myself already, my best friend passed early in life, from colon cancer. He was Dutch, and leaves behind a wife and child that we consider close-distant family - Spending American Thanksgiving with his wife and his son, who, for all intents and purposes, will be inheriting a nontrivial fortune upon my passing.

I don't know why I posted this just now.

I think I just really miss my Dutch friend.

No homo.

I always feel for people who have to life with good people/friends etc passing to early in life.....  Cry

I know leaving them won’t make the happy or whatever but the gesture you will make is very kind....
I know there will not be anything that could bring joy in these hard times, but I hope you find some good companion friendship IRL....

You have my best possible thoughts with you and I know many others feel the same way in this place!
Enjoy a small drink @these times and think of the best moments you had with your friend and his family!!!
I hope you will keep having good times and you will keep being a good friend to that family as I’m sure you will be!!

Be good my fried, it’s maybe a small thing, but this Dutch members you can consider to be a friend!

(Also nothing wrong with sharing a thing in here, as I met a few IRL, I know one of the members did shared a thing in here as well and when I met him IRL... I know he had a good feeling we caring about this matters)

micgoossens account hacked or maybe cryptoqueen lost her account.

If you would respond to something that is seriously pity...... then maybe have some kind of respect ....

My dad died from multiple organ failure a few years ago. Since then, i see every death of a closely related person or good friend as a reminder. A reminder of how precious it is to be alive. Sure, there are these feelings. Honest and pure feelings of loss and hurt.
What did you ever dream to do? Do it. You have this one chance.

We should see some BTC highs around the $8400 range,  That is where I would sell. We should then see a correction again to around the $8000 range but it is very possible that we reach lows around the $7800 range. If I was to sell I would put a buy in around the $7800 range. Then I would watch the market. If it seems like a sharp decrease in price I would possibly even wait for the $7500 range.. We will see BTC around the $7500 range atleast 1 more time this week!

My October 5th closing price will be $8642!

Another life ruined by Shitcoins. Be careful out there Rebel and good luck with your lawsuit.

https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/world-news/iphone-user-sues-apple-after-20392402

"In a complaint published on Wednesday, Razumilov says he received 69 GayCoins on a cryptocurrency payment app he downloaded onto his iPhone in 2017.

The unknown sender of the coins reportedly wrote a message in English for Razumilov which he interpreted as "don't judge without trying"."

azumilov said in his complaint: "I thought, indeed, how can I judge something without trying it?"

And so, because of this message, he said he began having same-sex relationships.

"I can say after the passage of two months that I'm mired in intimacy with a member of my own sex and can't get out," the complaint continues.

The man has accused Apple of "manipulatively pushing me toward homosexuality", which he says has caused him "moral suffering and harm to mental health"."

I have the equivalent of about 50 BTC. Equivalent, because most of my stash is in assorted alts. Some of them are not liquid enough, so I'll have to trade them back to BTC slowly, but I am confident I can get at least 40 if forced to liquidate them all quickly, as in a few days.

50BTC or mostly in alts and still able to get 40BTC out of it..... How is that possible? places I had let us say 1BTC in an ALT = like 0.1BTC in return ?? So if you got them in some real real shitcoin like I had this LUXcoin b*tch sh*t F*** coin that B*ttF***ed the hell out of my initial buying then I know from experience it must be much worse .....

Death is natural. You must accept it and move on to other things in life.

Then again a person have feelings and a real man is able expressing those feeling like some just did, when someone expresses them you respond with common feeling and mutual respect, like I do feel with others, if you don't feel with someone then you just STFU and don't respond on them....
Do know everybody works different with losing people or having RL issues ... if they consider to share something in a place like this then we try to help out or be quiet when not intersted, but when we right we show respect and we never insult or anything, if you would ever write something awful happened, I would never be disrespectful or insulting and that counts for anyone, if I like or not like a person... I never wish them the worst in life.

Yes, if we were machines.
But death also defines life, so it's very important. You must accept the true feelings it brings up in you and then move on to other things in life afterwards. No feelings, no life, mate.

This time, I'm thinking instead of posting some absurd wish number, LOL... deadline is still next week.. but I'll post something by the weekend maybe. Gonna have to squeeze in between one of those predictions.

Yeah I know some thinking or don't like to been boxed in ... but I just repost the thread sometimes cause I wouldn't want any WO to miss out a shot of winning...
I have a few topics that I like ... like collectibles (some awesome people there)
But I always hope a WO-member to win the game Cheesy

So...is this not a 'common' effect of being on Bitcointalk and the WO thread? I don't get why the lawsuit? Befuddling indeed. Smiley

Mises is the right path to understand BitCoin economics IMO. But that includes the true powers of the original Satoshi version without any central planned devs injections and open markets for block space / onchain capacity ...

It is interesting that some Bitcoin earnings are correlated with the Tether emulation.

Source: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-10-03/bitcoin-gains-correlate-with-tether-issuance-researcher-says

I know that many bullshit coins to list in an exchange, suppose: the customer gives around 1 million dollars, then they pass it to Tether, and that's where the exchanges assure them of profits, and the whole business is in the purchase of Market Makers packages.

And:

A palpable reality.
