Are you guys thinking of a buy order? 🤪 By the way, Almost forgot to ask, Those of you who are in US, which platform you use to buy bitcoin using Bank? A friend of mine wants to buy bitcoin and he is looking for a better platform which has less fees for Bank transfer.

Most of the usual suspects, Coinbase, Kraken, River, etc. the ones that are based in US are fine. The issue your friend will run into is more often that banks don't want to be linked to a crypto exchange so you need to make sure the bank is ok with whatever exchange you settle on. Fees I don't know.

Thanks. Fees are important for him because he is going to order a large chunk.

Thanks. Fees are important for him because he is going to order a large chunk. Transfer fees are fixed for wire, free for ACH. Trading fees are more important for a largish trade size. Trading fees from lowest to highest: Kraken<Coinbase Pro<Gemini, but not by much (0.10% lowest, 0.35% highest)

yep, Hin Leong (singaporean oil trader firm) goes bust with $4 bil debts.
NYMEX bracing for NEGATIVE PRICES WTI 7.90 6.50 5.00!!!! **CME SAYS MAY WTI FUTURES CAN TRADE NEGATIVE **CME REPORTS WTI FUTURES TRADE AT NEGATIVE PRICES FOR THE FIRST TIME. WTI MAY @ -0.01 -1.43 -7.3 -40 *I cannot even stay behind this. wow, just wow Please note that there are no more options on this contract. It's only a future expiring tomorrow. Everyone long this future (banks, speculatore etc..) now HAS to close the position unless willing to go to Cushing and get the delivery of the oil.

Surely all of these lockdowns are going to end soon. Look at oil, behaving like some weird shitcoin.

How many coins could you mine with the energy from 600 barrels of oil?
A very interesting question. I am getting 35.7btc using S17pros and pre-halving reward size of 12.5btc (obviously, half of that afterwards). Basically, about 19X of what 600 barrels would cost at $22/barrel. ^^Someone probably could make a fortune here in Texas if they have means to convert oil into electricity, then mining with that in the next couple of mo. Can normal people actually buy barrels of oil? Does it go straight into a generator or is there some processing first?
