LOL at all the scared little people selling thier coins. BTC has turned out to be a great investment if you bought anywhere from the $4-8k range. Just easy profit.

Yes... and even better if you have invested in BTC 4-6 years or longer.

If you had not realized, cafetools, many of the regulars in this thread tend to be into longer term investing strategies rather than cashing out their bitcoins as soon as they see a bit of fiat profits, and probably part of the reasons for those longer term inclinations in this thread is that many of the longer term participants have witnessed a large number of examples of members who sell way too much of their BTC way too soon, and probably a large part of the reasons for those selling too much too early tendencies is because they are both valuing their wealth in dollars, and they frequently will make the mistake of believing that they did a good job with their BTC investment because they were able to lock in some kind of short term dollar profits.

Sure, as one of our latest "smarter than everyone else" trader, SwayStar123, pointed out, this thread seems to be about observing price walls, but when you really dig deep, that wall watching is only a fun side project when the vast majority of successful WO thread participants have been prioritizing their own BTC strategies in terms of mostly attempts at longer term BTC accumulation strategies.

In other words, you are not going to win too many friends in these parts if you get too excited about a mere doubling or tripling of the dollar value of your BTC... even though many of us are likely pretty damned giddy about those returns while we are anticipating decent chances for ongoing returns of equal or greater amounts.. but could take a while to really play out.

By the way, cafetools, if you cash out decent portions of your BTC along the way up to $20k or even $50k, if you get over anxious about cashing out too much too soon, then you may well run out of corns at various higher valuations.

Observing $10k   Woot!!!!

Touched $10k at BitMEX. Just NOW!

Unless there is some kind of important (or noteworthy) thing going on in bitcoinlandia (or Bitmex specifically), for what should be somewhat obvious reasons (you heard about some of the shenanigans there, frequently involving leveraging  100x (hello)?), we don't use BitMex as our attempt at a representative BTC price reference point in this thread.

Remember bitstamp? it's a pretty well-known exchange that does not use leverage trading and has historically served as a pretty decent BTC spot price reference point... remember?

Well I had just been about to go to bed, but thought I'd squeeze in another episode of "Better call Saul" instead.  Great series.  With the added bonus of seeing us pop 10k as I was watching. And on that note, good night HODLers. Sweet dreams of a post-halvening ATH.....

Nice. Things are going better.

Remember though: It's not that bitcoin is worth more. It's that fiat is worth less.

Am relatively confident I didn't pay 3x more for my shopping than I did a couple of months ago. I'll check again.

It was necessary.  We needed the volume spike to seal the bottom of the bear market.

That slo-mo serie. Has Slippin Jimmy attained his "Better call Saul" slogan yet? Btw, double space after a full stop was deemed wrong by Microsoft.
