1/ On the eve of #Bitcoin 's quadrennial supply shock, inquiring minds are wondering whether the so-called "Bitcoin halving" is "priced in". In this thread I will explain that it is not and it cannot be priced in. 👇

02:12:45  8763  478.106

came back to btc talk after months to pay tribute to halving. quick glance at WO. wtf, weirdly derailed, so nothing changed...  merited the first reasonable post i found. will go back later today and will try to find some wisdom scrolling through the pages.

price will go up. by the end of the month we will be back to 10k.

Morning gentlemen,

Not long to go now until the catalyst for the biggest bull run of our lives Wink
It will take a good amount of time to ignite but the supply of new coins being cut in half is huge for us HODLERS.

https://www.bitcoinblockhalf.com/

I’m off to the bank to go & move money around so I can buy again. Will be standing in a fucking queue outside 2 metres away from people.

To the moon!

I care about purchasing power. What it is denominated in I could not care less. Can it buy me a loaf of bread, a house, the moon? That is what matters.

Hello Wall Observer gang!
Big day for all of us bitcoiners. Halving in less than 12 hours. After every 4 years we are celebrating it and no doubt in the post halving we are expecting big things for bitcoin. Stats/numbers never lies.

Anyway, it seems a good timing for me :-D
I hope some of you are aware of the COVID-19 project. Those who have missed - I would request to have a read of this topic: Project Covid-19 : A Financial Aid - Only for Bitcointalk users!

The advertising team needed avatar and I had you gang in the mind too, so I ordered Hat version of avatar too. Feel free to use it with the personal text or without the personal text if you think this project can bring some value to the communty.

tesla IPO was 10 years ago. $17 per share and it went to more than $23 on that day. today a share is around $780. an investor who invested $10k at a $23 per share made $330k so far.

bitcoins highest price in 2010 was 39cent. $10k would have bought you 25641 btc if you happened to buy on the worst possible day in 2010. those btc would be worth $222 mio today.

Yes indeed. Hanging around this $8,700 through the Halving would be a let down.
