The thing is, how many people use USDT to buy BTC and would thus be unable to buy ? I'm not a user although I have a small amount in lending.
Ah, makes sense. So the demand would dry up... I can see that but on the flip side the demand for Tether would turn to dust and those billions would need to flow to other markets which would mean demand would sky rocket (on btc) first (and the dollar peg from tether would need to drop). We saw a drop in the peg a couple years ago when this all started. I think tether dropped to 0.8 Dollars.. Any way you slice it -- seems like a nothing burger at the moment.

It's the most ridiculous and pathetic FUD attempt I have read in like years... what makes you think the end of Tether will make BTC tank? Why do you think it will cause chaos? I really don't think Grayscale & co give a damn and/or will dump their coins based on this info. Judging by the author's attitude (calling bitcoiners buttcoiners, calling bitcoin crypto etc) I can say that he's most probably a nocoiner or an anti-bitcoin shill. And just look at all those shitcoiners' comments on reddit! Don't believe a single word.

Ah okay.... found it ...
What is WBTC? Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) is an ERC-20 token that represents Bitcoin (BTC) on the Ethereum blockchain. A key advantage of WBTC is its integration into the world of Ethereum wallets, dapps, and smart contracts.

What's wrong with coinmarketcap.com Imagine if that were true, owning just a tiny fraction of the market cap, you could buy a stripclub every time you want to see a girl dance.

Get ready folks. The new Biden administration is going to spend, spend, spend like a rich, drunken Uncle next year. https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/yields-surge-stunned-traders-learn-biden-propose-massive-2-trillion-stimulusBefore the smoke clears on 2021, expect another $2T in stimulus spent (!). This will be a 'temporary' spending (riiiight) to stoke the economy, then some aspects will eventually become a permanent ongoing 'stimulus' (*cough* UBI *cough*). Inflation will start to run hotter. Asset prices will start to really leg up in about 2022-2024. Buy more Bitcoin now, because the price action will be reacting to all of this shit by going much, much higher.
