Is bitstamp dead ? Trading is currently in anemic state, not a good sign IMO! 2 months ago 580 would be have been considered dirt cheap! Its all about perception i guess..$400 might be considered expensive in 2 months 6 months ago 580 would been considered crazy high!

Its all about perception i guess..$400 might be considered expensive in 2 months This bear market could end any second, like in July last year. I don't think we'll dip that low. We are lucky if we'll dip below 500 at all, just watch the historic trendlines. But if we do, I have fiat waiting on the sidelines, just in case

Guess we are in a deflating period,i think a dip in 200-300 range is not a bear's dream..however that would take some long period of continuing decline.

LOL i know what you mean. I wanted to get my hands on some before I understood a thing about them. but the bank wire fee to Mt Gox back then was $20. totally not worth it just to buy $20 of bitcoin @ $2 each.... lol then came the $30 bubble and I understood what I had to do, but I didnt get round to it until it was taking a hike towards 266. Im glad I waited and got on at $100.

I'd put 200-300 definitely in the bear's dream realm. Except there is a btc-e style flash crash to that regions, one can never know.

The last two years, BitStamp have never fallen below 3 months low. I don't think that will happen in the next two years either. 2014 will be a great year for Bitcoin.

4 hr moving average crossover vs. anemic order book. Bogus ATM story in Dubai vs. Walmart gyft cards. Could go either way.

4 hr moving average crossover vs. anemic order book. Bogus ATM story in Dubai vs. Walmart gyft cards. Could go either way. 4 hour crossovers have become very unreliable lately. Back in the gox days, a 4 hour crossover was the holy grail. Nowadays, anything can happen, it could be a trap, or simply go down with no regard for the crossover at all. I prefer to just wait for the 1 day MACD - much more reliable.
