Still mostly sideways, but price still higher than i expected

4 hr moving average crossover vs. anemic order book. Bogus ATM story in Dubai vs. Walmart gyft cards. Could go either way.

4 hour crossovers have become very unreliable lately. Back in the gox days, a 4 hour crossover was the holy grail. Nowadays, anything can happen, it could be a trap, or simply go down with no regard for the crossover at all. I prefer to just wait for the 1 day MACD - much more reliable.

The last two years, BitStamp have never fallen below 3 months low. I don't think that will happen in the next two years either. 2014 will be a great year for Bitcoin.

If TA would allow you to foresee the future, everyone would be rich by now.
Unfortunately, these are just indicators, hence the possible future outcome is still highly non-deterministic.

It is just a little better than throwing dices, yet, it can show you possible outcomes that are more likely than others.
But in bitcoin of course, as we all know, anything can happen

I think we'll have to go sideways or up a little bit (to the 700-800 range) for the next 2-3 months and then the next bubble can commence.
It will be a spectacle to behold!

Yes! The price of bitcoin should be at least $600. We are still low right now thanks to Mr. Tibanne.

I've seen it mentioned, but perhaps it is the reason as to why some exchanges ie Kraken have started to supply proof of reserves, trying to calm the world down.

These are some real green shoots of recovery after you let big companies fail, instead of bailing them out as is the norm today. What is happening is that people, shocked, and sobered by this fiasco, start to demand things like proof of reserves and transparent exchanges. Companies trying to claim market share (there should be lots of it up for grabs with Gox gone) are stepping forward to meet the new demand. The whole Bitcoin ecosystem is growing more robust as a direct consequence.

I am happy with this development and feel like it validates my initial intuition I had after the final Goxing, when I felt that this is going to help Bitcoin in the long run a lot!
